I would like it to be like Anakin's turn from Star Wars, but better of course. Each film you see hints of him changing sides.

15 years before Star Wars Anakin ...err I mean Sinestro surrenders to power lust.
From Sinestro's first appearance.
Georger Lucas' copy...

The original. Got to love the line about dissolving the Senate ..,err I mean High Council.

Enevitably the two face off... And here Vader ..err I mean Sinestro taunts the young cocky star-pilot to embrace his way - good is powerless - evil alone can act.

I was once a Jedi like yoursef? - I wore a uniform like yours myself once -- Before I learned better!
Before I leraned the Dark Side.
Good is helpless -- Evil alone can act!
Palpatine couldn't have put it better.

mark strong said he fought really hard for that look. apparently they originally had sinestro in a van dyke goatee and a mullet(no joke).

I remember seeing concept art for that... was never really a big fan of it. I'm so glad they went with the comics version.

Honestly I kind of wish they didn't enlarge his head at all. I always thought it looked kinda silly.

Im thrilled and kinda shocked how good he looks. Very awesome

Mark Strong, i mean give props to him he really vouched for the classic Sinestro look and just seeing it in motion actually happening on screen is amazing. Mark Strong as Sinestro is the best casting of this movie imo, then of course is Ryan Reynolds for GL but Strong is perfect for the role

as you know i had complaints if he would look like in the comics.

it doesnt look that bad.

Strong looks perfect.

The realisations hitting home that between Strong as Sinestro and Weaving as the Red Skull, us fans are in for some amazing villainous performances next year.

Yeah, I thought about mentioning Hiddleston too given some the good advance word of his performance but I thought I'd just mention the guys who are more 'household' names with us fans at this point.

Weaving and Strong are the 'go to guys' for Hollywood villains at the moment.

Sure, Brian. Sure. :oldrazz:

Even though Sinestro technically isn't the villain in this. :oldrazz:

Some pretty kick-ass secondary villains, too. Peter Sarsgaard, Toby Jones, Colm Feore. Parallax, Richard Armitage, The Destroyer.

How come he has a suit but Hal doesn't in the movie?

Way better than that concept one they were going to go with.
