Hal Jordan in Mortal Kombat vs. DC was one of my only disappointments in the way they handled the characters... His costume felt slightly Batmanned up or something... A litle bit too metal gear... IT'S NOT ARMOUR! It's a uniform.
Also, he sounded like a Navajo indian.

yea the game's suit look great in design look i seen in pics. But yea i agree it shouldnt be armor, gl suits are not armor just a uniform like above poster already said. .

From the early art, it looks like theyre going with Kyle Rayner's suit on Hal.

Please stop *****ing about the costumes!
It happened with X-Men (Who now wear slightly modified versions of the movie suits... ha!), Batman (which looks badass), Spider-Man (RAISED WEBBING?! OMG!! THE HORROR!!! ... rite... he looks like a spider to me!), Superman (... ok... even I agree it should be a lil more red with a BIG insignia)

Please don't. It looks like a lantern outfit. The glow in the middle is a bit IRON MAN-ish though (WB literally wanted GL to be their Iron Man )

hal has sucked imo since he stopped being paralax. turning evil made him a much richer character and allowed for kyle to show up. kyle is a more human character so i tend to like him more than any of the other earth gl's. hal could have become kyle's sinestro and would have made for some fantastic stories but instead editorial decided that they hated progress and wanted to put the book back where it was 10 yrs ago. bringing hal back was the equvilent of spiderman's one more day to me

I always viewed Hal as the messiah for the Guardians. The one true Green Lantern who represents the best of the Lantern Corps and all his peers get inspiration from him. Thus the ultimate slap in the face came when Hal turned evil and pretty much annihilated the corps. I guess Rebirth was a way of saying, "Hey! Remember back when Hal was the man?"

Well that's your opinion. I'd suggest you get behind Hal now because that's the only movie they are going to make. There isn't a chance in Hell that Kyle Rayner gets more than his name mentioned.

There are about 3600*2 Green Lanterns at least. What's strange is that you could say that earth's lanterns were Hal and John first, and then Hal was replaced with Kyle
So, is Alan Scott considered an official lantern or is he more like a emergency guy (Movie universe... he's no longer in the comics)?

which is exactly how they viewed sinestro before he turned! that's what makes it great!!! now imagine how much it would suck if sinestro was returned to a good guy and became the focus of the gl book...that's how i feel about hall

is scott a gl in the movie? he doesn't have to be to get a cameo, i'd feel like it was out of place if he was a gl in it
