Owen is fantastic, but he seems to keep playing the same role over and over recently. The Green Hornet would be a great change.

Yeah. Shoot 'Em Up was thrashy fun, but he doesn't really benefits from those types of roles anymore.

Has anyone seen Hurt Locker? Besides being easily one of the top 10, possibly 5 movies of 2008, Jeremy Renner and Anthony Mackie's characters are pretty much exactly the way I think Guy Gardner and John Stewart should be portrayed. Renners been my top choice for Guy for awhile, Mackie hasnt overly impressed me (despite having a few strong performances; his good guy roles are stronger than his bad) but he would be an excellent John Stewart albeit younger than I think Stewart would be

How did this go from the Green Lantern casting thread, to the Green Hornet casting thread?

I was just suggesting that since GH may not come together after all and if it pans out, then Warners can claim that ideal June 25th spot for GL instead.

Is it just me, or is it because of the SAG tensions that we're not getting more GL casting rumors at the moment? I have a feeling Warners is waiting for a deal to be struck before going forward.

But I have to admit, he'd be awesome as Guy Gardner too.

I've seen Hurt Locker (great movie btw) and I think and wrote here several times that Renner is great in the movie. But he gave me more Barry Allen vibes...

Probably won't happen. He was the one who cheated on his wife and kids. Not that its a big deal in Hollywood. But, I am sure Warner won't want that nonsense to become part of the discussion when talking about Green Lantern.

WHOA!! I never thought of him! He sure as hell is an up and comer! But he doesnt really fit the age in the script..maybe they changed it in later drafts..The other thing is, is that it's dissapointing that they still havent cast GL, if this article is true anyways. I personally thoguht he was already cast.

John Hamm is Bruce Wayne. Besides, he's too old... It took this hardcore 'Fillion For Hal' guy a long time to accept it but they're looking for someone younger... 25-30... But now i think i've finally found him! The perfect Hal Jordan!
