I think she's funny. Just forget about the Scary Movie sequels.

Oh I know I just watched a movie called Mama's Boy last night and she was forgettable, that may have been her characters fault though. Then the Scary Movie films she was in were just as forgettable. I think she may have potential. I like Sean Farris because I thought that he was good in Never Back Down and when he is good at angry which is what Hal is. A angry character.

I don't think James Franco would be a good choice, he has already been attached to a comic book movie, and I honestly think the GA would be like "hey isn't that the guy who tried to kill Spider-Man?"

I dont think they would do that at all. The general audience knows that professional actors do more than one role. Its how they make a living. To think he couldnt play this role because he had already played another role is pretty ridiculous excuse.

yea i dont see much of a problem if franco got the role of hal. Their is tons of actors who could play a wide variety of characters.

What about Jared Padalecki if they go for a younger version of Hal? He is very tall (6-4), very built and handsome...

If they go for a more mature version I think Nathan Fillion would be good.

would be nice if they were going older i know many want fillion and david b. but we know they are looking for late 20s/early 30s. Personally out of the supernatural guys i think jensen would be better suited for the hal role.

David would be really good but he is too old. Jensen could def handle the cocky side of Hal, he already does that on Supernatural. Either Jared or Jensen would good IMO.

I just prefer that, whenever possible, actors share similiar attributes to the characters theyre playing.

If Hal's 6 foot then I'd prefer the actor be in that range.

Besides, you never know that he wont be standing next to a Superman on screen at some point in the future.................

I think he's a solid actor even in small roles, like in Milk.

I'm not a fan, because I don't find him all that great, I haven't seen Milk yet though. Even so, I think there are far superior choices out there for the role of Hal Jordan.

Just for the sake of reiterating what I said a few pages ago, considering the profile they seem to be aiming for, Sam Worthington, James Franco, and Ryan Phillippe would round out my top three choices for Hal Jordan.

I think Ryan Phillippe would be a solid choice actually.

And even 6' is really tall for a test pilot (to be credible). If he was any taller he would have trouble fitting in a fighter jet.
