How would anyone feel about Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan? I think he could do it, I'd be fine with it. I know he's playing Deadpool and all, but that seems like a minor role, IMO. I also know that people wanted him for Flash a while back but I honestly think he could work as GL - he's the right height, is a good actor, and has got brown hair and brown eyes. I'd be fine if he were cast as Hal unless they could find someone better.

I wouldn't make GL films as Earthbound superhero films. I'd make them as intergalactic space cop films. That's what sets GL apart from other superhero properties.

yea there is no need to drop the hal mask any good cgi artist/costume/makeup person could make it look realistic and work well.
