I think they ran it on their website just a few weeks ago, but it was more of an overview report than giving specific news that Bloom's meeting was recent. They just said they'd heard that an offer had been made to Gosling and that Bloom was one of the actors they'd met with, but they didn't say when the meeting might have taken place.

Thanks again, I'd be cool with him, as I've never really had a problem with Bloom, and he seems to fit the type of actor they were going for, so it could be him.

Bloom is currently scheduled to start filming The Cross in July, though, so unless that changes he wouldn't be available for Green Lantern.

I would be down with brewster as carol i like most of her work i seen her in. As for hal i said a few times i would be down with ackles, worthington, maybe hartnett, possibly gyllenhaal or franco, jackson for hal.

The more I think about it, I could really see Worthington as Hal. It's not like WB doesn't know who he is; he just wrapped making a little movie they are distributing for them called... uh... I think it was Terminator Salvation or something like that t: It is some robot movie

Worthington is already starring in a major Warners film that's shooting this spring and summer: Clash of the Titans.

Yea i love his work on supernatural and i think he has good looks for the character and has the right attitude/etc... to pull off the role. Though if they are likely going to be going a may-june filming date ackles might not have enough time to work on the film since sn like sv starts production of seasons in early/mid july and are done in canada were as gl is likely going to be austrilia/NZ.

I think that based on the type of actors that the producers have contacted that they are going with relatively well-known (but not mega star) movie actors, i.e. Affleck, Gosling, etc.

Than maybe he'll work his schedule to do both, though i feel there are many better choices than Bloom.

The Thor and Captain America movies have been official for ages, and we still don't have a section for those. They all should have their sections.
EDIT: Oh, i see we need someone to be actually cast in the movie before it gets its own section. It shouldn't be long then.

He can film GL after Clash.
