Ah ok, i didnt get what he meant. Though to be fair everyone has sparred with everyone in comics, but Bruce and Clark are bros. He'll never be anything more than uncomfortable allies with Hal.

Thats a good way of putting it but I agree that despite getting into heated disagreements and a couple of minor physical altercations they still have a much more stronger bond than Hal and Bats will ever have.

I've always gotten the feeling that both of them don't really care much for each other at all.

Loved the Supe/Bat TAS episode Knight Time which shows they are very much "bros".

I'm guilty of it too so maybe I'm not the one to say this but we should really stop turning every single thread into the Batman thread.

Lets talk about that awesome GL footage because this is a GL fourm, is it not?

I've done that over 4 times already within the last four pages. It hasn't worked at all.

I even posted a GL comic from 1964 in trying to show the major resemblance between that eras Hal and Ryan and even pointing out the Guardians to someone who was sure they weren't in the trailer.

All to no avail.

I still think the three-episode 'World's Finest' is one of the best representations of both of them in film/animation. Even though it still made Batman out to be 'cooler', it also highlighted their differences in ways that didn't highlight their 'shortcomings'.

It's kinda' funny that the only time that JLU's Batman and GL really talk is when it's about women.

He's credible when it comes to young Batman's origin and old Batman's origin. Other than that, no credibililililility for him.

No excuse for The Dark Knight Strikes Again apparently. I haven't even read it but based on those customers reviews on Amazon it looks like he made a real stinker.

Some guy went into very thorough detail on all its shortcomings and it just sounds awful.

It felt like more of a parody than a continuation of DKR. There were some nice moments here and there...and even some of the weird artwork worked for a scant few things. But overall....it almost felt like Miller was sick of all the acclaim he got for DKR.
