The new trailer is obviously better than the first. Can't wait for this film because it actually looks epic.

Don't know how it will be quality wise because I obviously haven't seen it but this is what Superman should have looked like...

The special effects are what they are. WB/DC has decided to keep working with Sony Image Works and thats that. Obviously they aren't ILM or Weta but there seem good enough to me.

I can tell the nit-picking police aren't going to stop though...the same people who enjoyed those awful Thor trailers.

@ Chelo248 I think Oa looks better visually (its unlike anything ive ever seen before) but i think quality its about the same. one is Sci Fi based and one is Fantasy

The trailer doesn't make it seem like it all that much, but of course I can't help but think it'll be a great surprise like scene.

Bit concerned though.... does this shot not confirm/suggest the death of Hector Hammond?!?! Don't want that. Batman 89, lesson 1 - Don't kill main villains of the mythos!!

I agree, but he's still a big bad in Green Lantern mythos. It's not the same as killing a random Sinestro Corps member in any follow up film.

I don't like MCD as Kilowog; not at all what I imagine him to sound like. I'd much prefer someone like Ron Perlman.

Actually, i dont see a big problem on killing him, anyway. Even in comic books he doesn't appear that often.

GL mythos is so big right now, that his villain gallery is pretty wide and with much more important characters.

Looks much bolder for me killing Joker, Penguin, Two-Face, Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, etc.

Hal's body kind of flops around like a rubber fish after Sinestro hits him. That's the only shot that looked off to me, at least on first viewing. Still don't get the hate for Lively but whatever.

Not sure I'm 100% happy with MCD voicing Kilowog. He sounds ok, but I find myself thinking "hey, it's MCD!" when I'd rather be thinking "Boy Kilowog sounds badass."

He looks like he should sound like someone but I'm not sure who, exactly.

Overall it looks pretty freakin awesome. What a great year for superhero movies.

Yeah it does look off but its not that bad. I'm more worried about the scene where he fights Hammond in that warehouse and he looks like he's on wires. I also dont like that backflip kick he does to deflect that canister or whatever that thing Hammond throws is.

I'm not saying that its bad, but its kinda meh...

While I don't mind the backflip, I hate that flying drop down kick he does initially. It looks awkward and like something out of a fighting game like MK.

Yeah it looks like its him. Yet another villain that bites the dust once the movie ends. Goddamn it!

Well yeah, and even though they'll probably not use him again, why wouldnt they just lock him up in a prison?
I just like to feel that the world is filling with freaks.



On another note i was thinking about how awesome Sinestro looks. He's badass in the comics as well, but here he is even better, mostly because he's not as frail. He's still thin, but he's commanding and with tons of presence. Also, his head is not that big and his face is not full of wrinkles.

In other words he looks younger, stronger and more commanding. Also Mark Strong's voice totally works for him. Thank god they didnt go with that Ming with Carnage's suit concept.

Now, that's a trailer! The new footage looks pretty cool though some of the CGI needs some more work but, overall, I'm impressed.
