Amazingly, in the Sony forums, I haven't seen a GH thread.

This is the place.

I love GH. I've beaten every song on expert, and practice almost every day to get better.

Who here loves this game?

There are "plans" for "The Final Countdown" to be in the game.
The bonus songs are from bigger bands this time around, not the indies.
The final song is well-known (song isn't on list), and has 11-or-so solos. Speculation is that the song is "Hangar 18" by Megadeth.
Tool is in negotiations to have a song in the game.

There are some new venues, and updated ones.
The lighting will sync with the music in-game.

This game will be awesome!!

Oh, and anyone who pre-ordered it will get a Cherry-Red Gibson SG Controller and a t-shirt and stickers.

Speaking of Live... GH2 may hit 360.

It is rumored that RedOctane is making it, and they have wireless SG controllers, and there will be d/l content, like new songs every couple of weeks or so.

More Guitar Hero II tracks confirmed

In addition to the belting track lineup that has already been announced for Guitar Hero II, some new tracks have been added - and they're monsters.

The first would be Rage Against The Machine's seminal anthem "Killing In The Name Of", and the second would be none other than the Foo Fighters' "Monkey Wrench". Cheap Trick's "Surrender" and Drist's "Arterial Black" will also feature.

I'm actually really looking forward to this, there will be so many great moments in it. Playing the duel solo in Beast And The Harlot, playing Shout At The Devil and trying to scream extremely high, Trying to keep up with Madhouse. And it seems like it would be a great game to play with friends while drinking
