well if the movie was R than im sure we would have seen the dark seekers feed on the remaining humans, so thats why i think they would of used people the dark seekers the CGI for an R movie

So you guys are saying if they didn't use CGI for the monsters it would of been rated R?

I personally thought the monsters were okay not the scariest I ever seen but good.

I don't think they were aiming for the movie to be R anyway.

The only reason this movie did so much is cause of Will I think.... A sequel with someone else would be stupid...and a prequel would be worse cause it would confuse people.

Not even close. It's all mood. Nothing is graphic at all. Even when he's killing the vamps it's very subtle. It was writen in 1954, people knew how to write without being graphic. Not that there is anything wrong with being graphic. But Matheson didn't have to be.

The scenes where the vamps are outside with Ben trying to coax him outside are absolutely brilliant.

There is no point in a sequel really, the story is told IMO, i would prefer a directors cut of the movie rather than a sequel.

This is one movie I would prefer them not to make a sequel but I can see the potential. If it was treated like the 28 series (28 days, 28 weeks), and an I am Legend sequels takes the story of another person and tells their story from a different place. Maybe when the outbreak is happening or they are somewhere else in the world.
