Wow man, you really didn't pay attention at all.

He gives a huge speech about how 1% of the population are immune. The woman and her kid are also immune.
Ohh, I'm sorry for not paying attention:csad:
Why do you freak out whenever I don't get my facts straight? What have I done that is so wrong? I'm sorry for not understanding some of the concepts of this film, I'm sorry.

I'm "freaking out" because you are trying to make these grand sweeping statements and your facts are all off base and you didn't understand things that were blatantly laid out for you in the film which you saw twice.

Like someone else said, stop while your behind.

Maybe you should read the wikipedia or some other synopsis.

I'm sorry for trying to help people who have seen it but didn't understand it while giving them false statements but everyone makes mistakes. Like you said there were two vamp-dogs(or whatever) and you were wrong. I could've bashed you like you bashed me but I didn't so next time have a bit of decency before you gang up on somebody.

Forgetting about one of the dogs, who was killed instantly and played no part in the remaining struggle with the other 2 dogs, is not the same as thinking that the dummy was put there to catch deer or that Neville was bit and turning into a vampire.

Can you verify that for me? Even though it seems logical that the infected that held the dogs put it there, how can you immediately jump to conclusions and say that he put it there? What proof do you have that he put it there and set up that trap because throughout the whole movie, all I've seen them do is run around like a bunch of mindless dromes.

So who put Neville's dummy out there to catch deer? If it was Neville why was he so shocked that his dummy had moved, and why did he not know about the trap?

I didn't immediately think it was a trap, but you know once Neville got his foot caught it was pretty obvious it was a trap especially when the same vampire was there with the dogs ready to kill him.

I understand if you didn't think it was a trap right away, but to see the movie twice and still think maybe it was there to catch deer and Neville accidently got caught in a trap that happened to be near a vampire hive with 3 dogs, is dumb.

Well, the trap is exactly like the one Neville used the day before... And I don't think he was just leaving traps around New York and then forgetting about them, so it wasn't him...

And putting a dummy is supposed to help catching a deer... how?

LOOK:

Neville kill himself for many reasons:

. He was atormented by the guilty of being the Last Man On Earth.

. He wanted his tormented live ended.

. He wanted to end the infection before.

If you see well, you'll se the Darkseekes where much more stronger then the humans. When they attack the Laboratory, they break the glass with only one collision.

They only tooked very long to break the glass because Alpha Male wanted to do it alone, the Darkseekers fear him and don't help. If they crashed the dafe area, they could destroy the tunnel door easily. Neville needed to kill them to save Anna and Ethan. When he discovered the cure and give it to Anna, he died happy.

He killed the Darkseekers. He found a cure. He redeem himself and he was, finally, going to find his Familly. He was the Legend.

There are only 3 possible explanations of how the Dummy got there:

1) Robert himself. Although, since they really didn't elude to any dual personality, sleepwalking, that's unlikely.
2) Another human did. Unlikely again.
3) Dark Seekers put it there. Which makes the most sense since, the same Alpha Male who stuck his head out of the doorway when he set the trap on the Alpha Female is the same one awaiting with dogs to attack Robert.

What if someone put it there for bait for the infected or maybe even to catch deer? The infected attack anything that they immediately see and the person who could have been hunting deer could have used the dummy to lure them towards it. Anyways, why am I not allowed to believe what I want to believe? Is there something that you find wrong about that?

What other person?

There were no other people there except Anna and Ethan and they were at the docks at that time.

and the person who could have been hunting deer could have used the dummy to lure them towards it.

Again: How is that supposed to work? A dummy could scare the deers away...

You're allowed to believe what you want... But on this you are completely wrong.

The vampire who exposed himself to light, had a vendetta against Neville, he discovered Neville's weird Dummy friends and used one to trick him. He set the exact same trap that was used to take the female vampire before, the one that the alpha vampire witnessed and exposed himself to sunlight to scream about.

That is why the same alpha vampire, the one that screamed earlier, was there waiting with 3 dogs for the sun to go down.

In movies there are things that set up things that will be payed off later. Neville using that trap on the vampire, and having the vampire scream about it, perfectly sets up the idea that the vampire uses the same trap later to get revenge.

Look, I don't know. It could have been there either way. I'm sorry for picking my own thoughts to believe instead of all of your guys opinions.

Opinions that follow what the movie sets up and make sense. As opposed to your grasping at thin air theories.

I'm not ganging up on you, personally, but yeah it's interesting to think, why did this happen and why did that happen, but both scene with the traps was pretty much straight forward.

Think of occam's razor. All other things being equal, the simplest solution is the best.

Okay, thank you for verifying that. I'm sorry for thinking of the wrong thing it's just when I watched the film the first time I had my opinions but the second time I watched it I was watching it while believing my own opinions and I didn't bother following the plot. I'm sorry if I confused some people but for me at first it was a bit of a confusing movie that had my brain spinning around in circles. So, again I'm sorry about that.

If this movie confused you than you need to use Brain Age or something and give that muscle in your head a work out. It was a very straight forward movie, while not that great of a movie, it wasn't complex or misleading in any way.

Sometimes there are things that are up to interpretation or speculation.

The idea that the Alpha Female was the mate of the Alpha Male wasn't really specified but showing the Alpha Male's determination to get back at Robert Neville, could easily be seen as him trying to get back what is his and revenge.

While the idea is not actually proven, something like that can be interpreted as such.

I meant the first time I saw the film it left my head spinning and the second time I saw it I followed it by my own asumptions from the first time I saw it.

But shouldn't you have adjusted and fixed your assumptions having seen it once and now seeing it a second time?

Yea, he did scream about how he (the dummy) got over there from the movie store. The vampires were much more smarter than Neville or the movie explained.

What?! I thought it was Will Smith's son because that kid looks like Will Smith's kid from The Pursuit of Happyness. I heard Ana compliment him on the picture of his wife and kid but I thought she was complimenting his wife.

It was just his daughter in the photo. Plus he also explains how she was named after Bob Marley.

Willow Smith does resemble her brother, though.
