Or maybe she's actually strawberry blonde. Comic colorists don't know how to do strawberry blonde hair. They always trade arbitrarily between blonde and red. Just look at Banshee and Siryn.

not really. If it were Jean, I doubt it would take more than a year or 2 tops before she's aged. They wouldnt let her grow up naturally. Besides the baby was taken to another timeline. She could stay there for years adn come back to 616 as an adult

Its just to help encourage and inspire her return, sooner rather than later.

It may be inevitable but some fans would like her to return within the next year or so and not have to wait several more years.

The Rachel fans have a letter writing campaign too... And for some reason they don't get negativity from other fans like we do.

Theres nothing wrong with fan support as long as its positive and creative (and hopefully brief).

Her return is not necessarily inevitable either. Emma has taken Jean's role among the X-Men, Rachel is taking Jean's cosmic Phoenix role again, and in the new cartoon Jean is going to be killed off in the first episode and then replaced by Emma.

Theres a need for positive fan support for Jean by Jean fans. imho.

Besides our write in campaign has been ongoing since last year. Its not new.

All we are asking is for people to write a simple letter or postcard asking for Jean Grey/Phoenix to return. sheesh.

I thought you were a Jean fan and wouldn't mind something like this. I wish you would participate. No one is "too cool" to send a little postcard. You don't even have to put your name or return address on it if you don't want to.

I actually love Jean, but I want to actually feel Jean's lack of presence in the X-Men for a while. I'm talking 5+ years, like the first time she died, or Colossus' death. I don't want it to feel like Jean can bring herself back from the dead almost instantly.

Jean's been gone about 4 years now. She's already been out for a long time and its about time she return. She was only dead about 5 years the first time. Colossus wasnt gone for nearly as long. He was killed off in 2001 only to be resurrected 3 years later in 2004

With every new big storyline we're expecting her return. If she needs to come back, make her come back when we're NOT expecting it.
