Hmm, Spec makes me want to read the issue sooner than I was planning.

On another note, all Varient does is post negative stuff. "I'm done with this, I'm done with that, wah wah that sucks and this sucks." Sheesh.

Maybe. Maybe not. Claremont's Exiles isn't top-notch, but it's a lot better than Bedard's was. I probably should have dropped it while Bedard was writing it, but I like Blink, darnit. On that note, Claremont needs to brush up on writing her better, which probably won't happen, but it remains the case that his stories are better than Bedard's were. And Bedard's characterizations of the characters weren't spot-on, either.

You still read UXM, Spoons, which is pretty much worse than Exiles is, because of how good that book had been until Kirkman came on. So you have no stones to throw... actually, let's change that.

Anyways, to those who are still reading Exiles, how is it currently? Stopped reading it a while ago out of boredom, but I'm curious if it's gotten better.

So Exiles for you would be the malibu comics version...or the malibu/marvel version that feature sienna blaze, juggernaut and the best incarnation of The Phoenix( and she wasn't Jean Grey) ever written?

Anyways, to those who are still reading Exiles, how is it currently? Stopped reading it a while ago out of boredom, but I'm curious if it's gotten better.

If you quit reading Exiles during Tony Bedard's run, I'd say that Claremont on the title is better. But that's "better" in relative terms. It's by no means great, just closer to being Exiles like when Winick was on it than Bedard got.

Assuming Claremont can "learn" to write the characters better - and truthfully, the only huge problem is his writing of Blink, but that's enough - the title has the possibility of becoming strong again, assuming he doesn't go into a downward spiral of crappy stories.

Understand my attitude,..... There is unresolved stuff in the comic that has not been addressed,... early last year the characters started sliding off character,... And now we have the Psyloc Show with Guest Star Blink.

And Proteus as Morph is STILL not sitting well with me.
(yeah yeah,.. EVERYBODY ELSE loved it,.. but not me.)

I can't recall a single person liking the Proteus-Morph thing. I certainly hate it.

Claremont's barely even referenced the Proteus-Morph thing. I wouldn't be surprised if he just kindly and gently writes it out, which he can certainly do.

Or, better, just write it out and forget it happened.

Easy, absolutely no mess, no problem. Eventually people will forget it happened because they want to. And it won't matter to new readers. If he does "resolve" it, it means we have to deal with it again. I'm all for forgetting it even happened.

Well since Morph is dead and gone, along with Mimic and Nocturne is in the 616 (for now) I would have no problem with the title being cancelled and bringing them ALL to the 616...yes, even Spiderman 2099, cuz , well, he's cool. That and I love Longshot, and Blink is my favoritest character EVAR!!! Plus the title, as I predicted has become the Psylocke show.....I knew that attention ****e would muscle in on Blink's territory

Um, how is Morph dead, exactly?

And wow, I didn't expect this issue to be as good as it was. Well, I've been saying that this arc would probably have a turn-around, and here it is. And I've been saying that if it didn't have a turn-around, I'd probably drop the title not so much due to quality as due to fundage points. So unless this arc has a total suck-wad ending, I'm staying on.

Although the artist who was drawing a Kitty Pryde supposedly younger than the 616 Kitty did a piss-poor job of it. What is she, three days younger? Two months younger? Oh, and Claremont needs to stay away from the thought bubbles before he becomes Bendis, Jr. But that's okay.
