I don't know, with SM3 making more than SM1 worldwide...and counting. I think Sony will easily pony up a measly 20-25M for Tobey, and whatever Kirsten ask for. Sam is always interested to do another film. I think you all are wasting your time on the casting. I'm expecting Sony to tell what they're doing with SM4, in terms of keeping the same cast or recast, before the SM3 DVD hits.

Okay, so who, other than Jake Gyllenhaal, since bringing him up now clearly won't accomplish anything at this point, would make a good adult Spider-Man? Think late 20s or even early 30s, but still Peter Parker.

Jake is 25, so that's why i'm still having him on the recast list. If Topher wasn't Brock, I think he would have been a good choice for Spidey.

Well, Jake is actually 27, but I could buy him as an adult more easily than most of the people mentioned. Milo Ventimiglia could work, certainly. He at least has the look:

Wow. Those two names are a mouthful. Just goes to show you how much Hollywood has chanced. Not too long ago, those no way those guys could succeed without changing their names.

The fact is Peter was a teen in high school in SM1. Plus, he was in the 12th grade, have you seen some of the 12th graders of today, they look older than Maguire in SM1? Personally, I always thought that Tobey looked young for his age, he didn't look like a 26 y.o. to me. I just don't want to see the high school Peter Parker anymore. Hell, I would love to see Peter in his last year of college, about to graduate--with a job lined up as Curt Connor's assistant teacher, or perhaps him becoming a science teacher. Maybe I should have been more specific.

Whoever they cast should still be in their mid twenties... obviously you won't have to worry about names like Shia or Emile or anyone of those guys... you gotto to keep in mind you need a guy that can give you three movies still in his prime... if you just cast someones a couple of years younger than Tobey it won't work... he'll be too old looking by SM5/6.

its not her weight, its just that she has one of those, short, slender, kinda body types, its hard to describe, but, I am in no way calling her fat, or saying i don't think she is absolutely fine
i was saying that in terms of fitting the BC kinda,tall, curvy, body type
(still for BC her height more then anything would be the issue, at 5' 4")

first of all i was joking
and yes, tobey does look young for his age, so, he was able to pull off the young look in the first movie (this is probably mainly do to his size) but, that worked for him, some of these other mid to late 20 actors, look their age or older, and will not stay as young looking as the movies continue

Thinner? I think she's perfect. Black cat needs to have curves. Jessica simpson is a stick. I don't see Black Cat as a stick.

Also you have to remember Tobi is short, thus it'd be okay for Black cat to be shorter.

Just saw "Breach", which has Ryan Phillippe in the lead. For the part he has dark hair...
He could probably play the part of Peter Parker (a Peter that's reaching adulthood of course).

Just make sure he has the dark hair, and straighten those damn curls out.
