Chun-Li looks way more disproportionate than she ever did. Usually they make the **** bigger, this time it's the legs.

 Chun-Li has had thick legs since SSF2T...

Finally some new characters
i didn't know E. Honda, Zangief, Dhalsim, and Guile were "new"...

Hm, I'm sort of dissapointed by the current roaster reveal, I'd still hoping that this isn't just STII 3D touchup edition.

why? it's not like these are the ONLY characters they'll have. the last version of SF3 had 20 characters, so if they're going to match that number then they still have 12 spaces to fill. if Tekken 6 can have 30 plus characters then SF4 can have at LEAST 20.

Seeing as I'm a huge Alpha fan, I'm likely to be left somewhat disappointed with the roster, just the same. Unless Sagat, Fei Long, Guy, and Cody make it in, I won't be completely satisfied. The former two aren't asking much, though, considering the SF era they're basing this on.

But it is Street Fighter, so there's no way I could possibly be totally let down. :)

I was referrign to teh fact that they are finally release pics of characters OTHER than Ryu and Ken. So far, it seems as if those two were the only ones we were seeing and I was wondering when we'd see new screens of other characters in the game

According to IGN, it's in development for all three current gen consoles, and an arcade platform.

They're starting off old school and releasing it in arcades first, then it'll be going new school and coming out for all 3 current gen systems (Wii, 360, & PS3) though the Wii's graphics will probably be dumbed down ala SFAlpha2 for Arcades vs for the SNES.

Cheers guys

You really think the Wii version will be that dumbed down to compare it to the SNES vs Arcade version of SFAlpha2??

So far from those pics SF4 looks good but it doesn't look that good. I need to see some videos showing animation before I would call it.

The Wii is fun and everything, but it's just plain not going to work with SF for me, heh. The PSX controls are simply too deeply ingrained into my gamer programming when it comes to fighters, like SF, Tekken, or MK.

I'll have to get this on PS3, no doubt about it.

I enjoy the Wii but for SF they better make it so you can use standard controller.

I won't knock it until I try it. They've been on the ball for the most part when translating games on the Wii. I'd like to see how it feels playing SF on it.

yeah i do. not saying there will be a BIG difference, just a slight one. after all, SFA2 for the SNES looked damn good for a 16-bit fighter back in the day. it was only slightly less beautiful than the arcade version.

you haven't seen the game in motion?

keep in mind, capcom claims that the game was only 5% complete at the time these videos were made.

Oh ok. I thought you meant a major downgrade in graphics. It's been awhile since I played SFA2 on the SNES.

nah....the downgrade was still noticeable, but not enough to hinder the experience. a lot of the changes were to the background. that's why i expect the same for the Wii version.

anywho, here are a bunch of new screens and better resolution artwork...

Somehow, having a Ms. Olympia looking Chun-Li bust out the victory pose just looks odd.

The PS3 is the only current gen system that has a controller worthy of a 2D fighter
