I think Kirkman's run has been pretty bad, but it hasn't necessarily been complete trash...
I liked the Date Night arc. Those interactions were good, for the most part. I liked that Sabretooth was revealed to be Wolvie's son. I disliked his lame 'threads' excuse for how he survived the beheading, and I disliked that the whole storyline was concluded in about one page during the Shadowking issue.
I also like the direction Nightcrawler has gone in. It's not great, but it's okay. Personally, I think Vaughn would have done a better job nurturing the homophobic seeds he planted, but whatever. Character development FTW.
The Phoenix/Hellfire thing has been drawn out way too long to the point where I'm almost sick of hearing about it. I don't even want it to be resolved... I just want it to be ignored. And anything involving The Magician might as well have never taken place. What a waste of time...
I like Cable as Wolverine. I think it's a very cool idea. But I don't like Xavier getting kidnapped and Bishop starting his weird team of X-Men. I don't like it at all... except for the inclusion of Psylocke.
I like Sinister as Apocalypse (if that is indeed the case) but I think Onslaught and Stryfe... or whoever they decide the other guy is... are pointless. Stop cramming people into an arc. It doesn't make it cooler, it makes it harder to focus on existing characters and develop them properly. Everything in good time.
