Picked up the book today and enjoyed it actually. I guess I'm back on board, can't wait till it is revealed that Cable is (insert female, most likely Jean, name) and Wolverine's son. I just have a feeling.

Edit: Ewwwwwww! Why did Logan's hair get cut?! Looks ugly IMO.

2) No dip it came out of Icemans hand. And if Ice can't tell when he's using his powers than I think he better sit out a couple missions.

by the way they acted around each over in this issue id say more like [BLACKOUT]Storm[/BLACKOUT] and Logan's son.

Hmm....guess PHOENIX wARSONG WILL HAVE TO WAIT. I really enjoyed someof the Ultimate issues which I haven't read in a while. Was this hint that Cable is someones son in #74?

It seems that with the purchase of X-3 at Best Buy you get the complete Ultimate X-Men Series on CD up to May of this year.

I just started reading it and I'm hooked.

Not sure if this has already been reported, but honestly I'm too lazy to look it up.

Picked up #75, the end was very wtf-ish. Despite it all, I liked it. Yes. 30 years without a healing factor, he let his claws out and was bleeding. Total bada$$ scene.

I wonder why Professor X has to die?

Eho did Nightcrawler just kill? Why does he look so pissed?

I kind wish I'd have picked up the comics earlier but... I've just finished New Mutants, it had some good potential but it failed if you ask me. It could’ve been a good TV show but I'm looking for movie quality here. I have The Tempest & Cry Wolf to read, Cry Wolf seems short, only 3 issues but here's hoping. Tempest is also quite short at only 4 issues but Sinister should hopefully be good and the visions of "Lord Apocalypse" and the whole, is he real or isn't he thing could be good.

I just finished reading the book and I thought it was pretty good. Actually Kirkman's best issue. I did however hate the twist. Why did Cable have to be Wolverine? I was hoping he was Scott. Oh well, I didnt see this one coming

I like Oliver on art but why does he have to always give Rogue short hair? She looks unattractive when he draws her. I like his Kitty however.

I loved the side story with Emma's stidents. I think they should give this team a name and probably give them a mini series. I loved reading about these students and was surpised to see them get their own story in this title. Brooks' art was pretty good as well.

Cable popped out claws and said that he's been living the past 30 years without his healing factor and called Wolverine bub. The end implied that he is Wolverine. Now that I think of it, Im thinking he's not. Most likely Wolverine's son

I would opt for either that or his son. I'm not happy about this arc centering around Logan but I actually enjoyed reading this issue. Oliver's art has gotten way better; his Colossus no longer makes me cry myself to sleep. I'd like to see Turner do the pencils like he did the cover but he's pretty much a cover-guy. It was also good to see Storm actually DO somethign for a change.

After reading that short story at the end; I'm even more convinced that Emma's Academy of Tomorrow needs it's own book. NOW!

This Cable arc could turn out to be Kirkman's best. The end definately raised a lot of questions and built suspense for the next issue. And the back-up story was pretty good.

I knew about it but since have dupilicates of everything already, I didn't bother to pick it up. If it's anything like 40 Years of X-men, it will be good quality and worth picking up.


As for the latest issue I couldn't help but roll my eyes a little at the end. Like we need another guy with claws. First Sabes, now this guy? Who's next?
