Prof X dying wouldn't be as shocking as we thought he was dead for a while in the 616 universe.

I guess so... i just think it is too early to kill of Scott....

Too early? Characters don't have time limits, I'd prefer it so that anybody can die at anytime.

Even though I'm a big Cyke fan, I hate saying it, but it looks like he's the one that's going to go. Which kinda sucks. Marvel had "supposedly" said that they weren't going to try and pattern the comics anywhere after the movies, and sadly, Cyke biting it in Ultimate, the loss of powers in Astonishing.. well.. I think they're following the movie pretty well in various ways.. Oh well.

Maybe Jean Grey? I mean as far as experience goes hasn't she been there as long as Cyke? This is of course assuming she isn't all flipped out Phoenix style at the time.

But I think we all know deep down that it will end up being Wolverine.

Never much paid attention to this book....but if they are intending of killing Cylcops...man that wouldn't be to bad since he doesn't hardly do anything in this book....


and besides its one book...and how many different characters can have in it....this book has way to many characters and they way to go is kiilling them off....one by one...I suprise suprise jean ain't die yet

2. Is there an invisible member that I'm not seeing, or are there only five members of the Six Pack? Is this like the Hive Five thing from Teen Titans?

There's a member that's not on that cover, Hammer. The original Six Pack (or Wild Pack before they changed their name) were Cable, Domino, Grizzly (the big guy), G.W.Bridge (the black guy), Garrison Kane (the one with bionical arms and legs) and Hammer (the one who's not on that cover).

According to that, I'd say the ones in the Ultimate X-Men panel are Grizzly, Bridge, Domino and Kane.

Going with the old comic book rule, no one really dies forever in a comic. I wouldn't be surprised if by issue 100 Cyke was back, if not by then he’ll almost definitely be back by 200.

I know they will never really run out of characters but I just don't want them to kill of a character just to bring them back by making a cheep nock off of some rubbish 616 character mixed with the dead Ultimate character.

If Cyke dies, I don't see how we'd be "shocked" since that's what they seem to be implying by the covers. Then again, the previews for X-Men 3 pretty much gave away his death too, despite the hopes of several people that they were leading us on (myself included).

1. 'i can't believe i forgot you'- to bobby and rogue- WHY?
2. shadowcat- thank god she's going
3. storms play- makes us feel sorry for her when she dies at the end of this arc- im pretty much convinced
4. Xavier and what he does in the future.
