The costume is 6 years old.

From the very first issue

Gosh, my lack of caring about Logan must have caused me to turn the page before getting a good look at what he was wearing :(

logans eyes look really bad in that cover.
Typical Marvel to put him on the cover of the FIRST issue of a team ensemble which he doesnt even show up in till the very last panel. The cover seemd oddly placed when it first came out

^^ Yeah, I felt that was bit of a rip myself. :(

its true you know...they could of at least showed the first x-men team in their new uniforms or somthing.

I think the main flaw of this reused costume is that the trousers are not black as they originally were. Anyways, I didn't remember this costume either, thanks for pointing that out

or it could be the way Paquette draws it, it looks like sh-t. It looked much better under Kubert

Yeah, I think so. I've been comparing the new cover and the old ones and the trousers in the new one look like jeans whereas the ones from Kubert look like spandex. Besides, Logan looked much younger back at the beginning of the book. Now he's just 616 Wolvie all over again.

You can't expect me to remember Wolverine's costume, it's not like he can keep them in one piece for more than five seconds everytime he puts them on, besides, I try to keep my memories of Wolverine to a minimum, he hurts my brain in the early Ult issues.

Whats with all the ROLO talk? Remember it's just a COVER, it means nothing until you actually see it......thats happened to me before :csad:

It wouldn't bother me to see them hook up. :)

I actually wouldn't mind seeing a love triangle between Storm/Wolvie/Bishop :woot: Sort of makes sense doesn't it?

Um, about as much sense as Storm/Wolverine, so I guess so. To me, Ult. Storm/Wolverine is the same as 616 Storm/Black Panther. They were forced together for no real reason whatsoever. In fact, earlier in the series Ororo had even said Logan gave her the creeps, yet now she can't live without him? :whatever:

Right now, I'd like to see a resolution to the whole CRAZYJEAN situation. It's a narrow line that whoever the writer at the time will have to walk, and I really don't want to see Kirkman handle. I have about as much faith in him handling my favorite characters as I would if Morrison came back to replace Whedon on AXM. :woot:

I never liked this book. Since issue 1 I thought it was crap. I still don't understand how I bought up till issue 27... anyways, seeing as I am downloading comic books that I can't afford I thought it might be a good idea to check on this book back again. So, I', asking, what is the start of the recent "status quo" of the book? meaning how far do I have to read to get a sense of what's going on without downloading all the issues I'm missing?

^You picked a good time to "jump on" actually. Go read the last arc "Cable" to really get caught up.
