Ouch. That is such a mean, mean statement, but... so true.
I dropped it after the Date Night arc, if I even finished it. Might have dropped it after the second issue, if it was a three issue arc. Bah, I don't remember. I've made myself forget.

Just finished the arc that introduced Ultimate Emma Frost and I hate what they did to the character...from her powers, her look, right to her personality...wackness.

And if he is, WHEN is it coming out... I need it badly... I was so let down by the Phoenix? arc... and this next one does not seem to be that much better either... We need a good one again very soon!!

Nobody knows when Bryan Singer is going to write his arc.

Bit he ever write for an other X Men comic series before? I remember back from X1 and X2 the movie there was speculation that he would, but I dont ever remember seeing anything by him yet...

I agree! I hope they figure out his weak points soon... it was alright to showcase his powers in his first Brotherhood fight, but if he's always like that it'll get really boring fast.

i just started reading these and i like it i started at issue 69, its cool. And its a Phoenix story which is cool. Art is good. But yeah i really like these comics. What is with the green things at the end of issue 71? they where freaky. I did like the line which Phoenix said to Prof X about melting his brain and it coming though his nose or ear somthing like that, made me laugh.

And this comes out monthly?

Colossal, were you directing this at me? Whoopie, haha. It seems my checking of these forums has stopped being regular. Oh well, only a few days late.

Were Kirkman replaced, and a good, REGULAR artist added on (Rainey, if that's the right spelling of his name, looks fine to me, so if he's going to be regular, there's one half of the problem fixed), yes, I'd again pick up the title. It would then depend on that writer to reestablish my love for the title. That is to say, I don't hate the title - I hate the title as it is currently written and drawn. Kirkman is to Ultimate as Milligan was to 616, just with Magician instead of Uber-Gundam Sentinels. Haha. =D

Lol, Storm's uniform always cracks me up. It's uselessly sexy. Fishnetting on her around her arms and shoulders serves no pratical purpose, and it doesn't really protect in a fight.

LOL... the funniest was in UXM #1 where the Prof says the uniforms are supposed to cloak their mutant DNA, while Jean Grey's uniform covered pretty much only her chest and had random holes in the pants... because, you know, that's the best way to cloak someone.

Both girls had massive skin showing, where is this mutant DNA hmmm..... The only thing completly covered is their no-no parts?

And lets not talk about how absolutely silly it is to have a bare midriff in a fight!

To go slightly off topic, I think the new Supergirl is the worst offender...with the long as cape, mini skirt and madriff.


As of the X-gals, I like Storm and Kitty's duds, but Ultimate Jean needs an update. Her outfit is soo "ugh".

UXM Jean has had some BAD days. The original artist had her being totally punk and really butch, and then the latest artist (the Phoenix? arc) has her looking 40.

I agree. Jean looked great when drawn by Adam Kubert, with the cute short hair and hoop earrings.

Jean looked really new with the short hair. Talk about a different direction. Wow.
Everybody else, well I think they still have yet to find thier hair niche.

Style wise El Bastardo was right, Storm's gotem all beat...altho I have problems with that uniforms.

Rogue has the most pratical one.
