has anyone bought the Ultimate X-Men DVD rom????

I have every issue already, but I didn't know that there was one? Is it part of the 40 years of X-Men DVD-ROM? I thought that was only Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, and Astonishing X-Men.

Finch on Moonknight is perfect, but my fav has been Stuart Immonen, I simply love his art, he owns on Nextwave.

Yeah, I really liked how Immonen's art made the book feel. I remember being a tad skeptical at first, but I really grew into it, and really dug him paired with BKV.

And I liked whichever Kubert brother started out the series.

Does anyone know when the Date Night tpb is coming out?

Seeing how its still sorta new, you most likely can find the issues, plus Date Night only consists of three issues.

I know, but I don't like collecting in comic format because they're too flimsy and I'm not one to take care of them; or if I do put them in plastic, then I'll never read them again.

I despised Immonen on Ultimate. His style is too cartoony and blocky and a terrible fit for the tone if this book. He's the reason I didn't even start picking up Nextwave at first, because I hated his art that much, but it's a vastly better fit on something like Nextwave.

Who's your favorite Ultimate X-Men Artist? Mine is David Finch... There's just so much detail and he keeps the girls look there age. Storm looks cute during the New Mutants run, which was my favorite storyline.
Adam Kubert. The first Ultimate X-Men trade was the first graphic novel I ever read, and his drawings made me think of comic drawings as art. He remains one of my favorite artists.

:p I'm grumpy Specs...

I thought that his art was different(freakin awesome), and that plus BKV's writing, this truly felt like a fun team book and I just simply loved it.

Is there an official word on when Singer's arc is supposed to start yet?

I don't think anyone knows when he is supposed to start, it would be pretty cool if he did a Dark Phoenix Arc

ha! This is never going to happen, they have been saying this forever, I mean when is he going to have the time? He's pretty busy.

And every time you bring in movie/television industry talent, the book always ends up late. Look at Ultimate Woverine Vs. Hulk.

Its only going to be 6 issues, but at this rate, it won't finish till 2007. :(

I just read issue #71 and there's something I don't get. What were those green goblins stuck to Jean in the cover and in one of the last pages of the issue???

They were, presumably, just psychic manifestations that only Jean could see. See "Hellfire and Brimstone" for a similar visual.

As for #71...what the f***? This book honestly reads like it was written by a 6 year old. Aside from Elliot being an annoying as hell Mary Sue, Kirkman's dialgoue is absolutely horrible. I have honestly never read such crappy writing in a comic, and that includes stuff from the 60's. I've collected this book religously, but I'm seriously considering dropping it. Thanks, Kirkman.

This book has been missing something since millar left. the characters need their edge back.

I'm waiting for singers arc to come along....

I'm just going along for the ride. Until Kirkman leaves, I'll never be excited for this book to hit the shelves like I was in the good old days. I'm too much of an X-****e to drop it but it's not fun anymore.

i hate that it stopped being this high octane action comic and started being all relationship oriented.

...with crappy art.

Kirkman is to the Ultimate universe what Milligan is to 616 :(
