Thanks for the welcome everyone. I think that disc was perfect. I always wanted to get into it but didn't want to have to drop the money and time on tons of issues or several tpbs.

I just finished Issues 1-12. I should be caught up in like 2-3 weeks.

She regained her original power recently, so understandably she is a bit peeved that she has to readjust.

Hey I'm just putting forward a common thing that occurs to people and characters. She has gotten back her original powers and can't have contact with the guy she likes. In fact, she is back to the no contact zone. Frustration arises. She is ready to explode and that outburst just seemed like release from all the pent up frustration.

It's a pretty simple and common logic, used over and over in many mediums.

I'm happy she hasn't got her powers back... I was so pissed off when she came back and got it on with Bobby... I don't like to think of her treating Gambit that way.
But then again, was she doing it because she had some Gambit in her? No, that wouldn't make sense, Gambit wouldn't do it to her, no matter how much of a scoundrel he is.

WOW - Issue 75 (Cable #1) was one of the best UXM in a long long time... this could shape up to be the turing point for this series!! Everything was shaped up perfectly!

EVERY major character was involved in some way - Rogue, Kitty, Colossus, Iceman, Prof, Storm, Jean, Cyke, Nightcrawler Wolvie... One problem I usually have with UXM is that with some many characters most of them are left out at times... but this one set things up very well for everyone to be involved...

One question tho, why was Kitty so odd in this?

And as for the ending, LOVED it, and I really did not see that coming!

And u know what else makes this one of the best ever issues, the extra comic at the back about the Academy of Tomorrow... I LOVE Emma and her team and always wanted more... and now we got our our story with them!! I would love for this to be a continueous thing... Anyone know if we will have more?

For the first time in YEARS, I cannot wait till next month so I can pick up Cable #2!!

Cable popped out claws and said that he's been living the past 30 years without his healing factor and called Wolverine bub. The end implied that he is Wolverine. Now that I think of it, Im thinking he's not. Most likely Wolverine's son

Bump this now. If that store lady doesn't have my issues ready, I'm going balistic. I'm missing out! I'll have to get issues #73, 74, and 75 first before I get the others.

Yes, I was wondering that too. She was pretty weird though the entire issue. Maybe since she was the last person who saw the Magician, he did something to her or something like that.

And in Cable's subject, I don't think he's Wolverine or anyone related to him. I think he's just trying to mislead the X-Men.

Pretty good issue though. I hope we'll see more from Emma Frost's Academy in next issues (The spin-off series should have gone to her and not to Wolverine).

I don't think Cable is his son but a clone (sort of) because do you remember that issue where Sabortooth took a huge chunk out of Wolverine? Well that's where it comes into play.

I just read in the latest issue of Wizard magazine that Turner and Loeb are colaborating on an Ultimate Wolverine mini due out sometime next year. They said it would be dark and gritty because Ult Wolvy is not the same as 616, he is darker, meaner and a little less noble as we saw when Wolvy tried to kill Cyclops for real in Antarctica. Leob was saying that this Wolvy is not so nice and has a more questionable moral character. They plan to look into Wolvy's past to see why he is who he is, but it will not be a full exploration like the first Origins mini. I'm looking forward to it.

Hell yeah! Can't wait for the Wolverine mini. I am so glad Turner is doing it. By the way, are they planning on bringing Gambit back this millenium? Jeez it's been too long already!
