I was wondering when they'd ultimize that. Lord knows it fits better than in Ultimate than it ever did in 616.

I agree it was never explored in the 616 only hinted....ultimate gets a plot to elaborate on...good for Ultimate

Well I believe that two years went by since its debut. I think Xavier said that he was 38 in the first issue, and the X-men ranged from 15 (Bobby and Kitty) to 18, which is why Jean turned 20 in this arc.

The twenty year age difference doesn't make it not nasty.

It is still a back story... the Shiar told Jean that she did NOT have the phoenix force (yet secretly they know that she does) and Jean is seeing demons in her mind... as for the person who dies in the next issue (or is it in 2 issues time), it is NOT Jean.... it is --

What I want to know is how did Cable know she sees the little goblin/demon guys running around and tell her she'll get thru it? And why does Cable have some of Logan/Woverine's dna (scent) and other things (claws)?

I notice a lot of people don't take issue with the Xavier/pervert thing. I do, for 2 reasons.

1) If Xavier is constantly sleeping around or trying to find a new piece of tail, it honestly makes him look sleezey. As if he has no interest in any of these women specifically but is simply looking for a new conquest. I mean, he says he is "inlove with Jean" but has said the same about Emma, Mystique, Lilandra, his wife, etc.

2) It makes you seriously question his intentions and just what kind of teacher he is. It is just a bad move for the character.

I suspect his character's involvement on American Dad with Hayley was somewhat of an in-joke as to how Prof. X keeps getting the chance to bang these sweet young things.

Its just bad writing. Nothing interesting about it. Kirkman is doing worse than just shooting blanks with this title. Hes urinating all over it.
