I suspect his character's involvement on American Dad with Hayley was somewhat of an in-joke as to how Prof. X keeps getting the chance to bang these sweet young things.
...You know...That makes sense.

I was just thinking that I want to know what happened to Magneto and Longshot.

I was just thinking that I don't want Kirkman to touch Magneto and Longshot with a thirty-foot pole. Best to keep the damage local to just the X-Men, I think.

I have a voucher to get Ultimate X-Men TPB`s.Should i?Is it worth it?Is the Ultimate X-Men still good reading? What about recent stories?

Ult-X was good up until issue 65 which was Vaughn's last issue. Its been crap since Kirkman took over

Yes, it was revealed during the first Onslaught incident, as Onslaught(who is/was Xaviers(w/some Magneto influence)) and Jean took a psychic stroll through the Astral plane while Jean was in a changing room, shopping. Xavier in 616 had amorous desires for Jean when she was initally his student in the old days, but he kept it to himself. The Ulitmate version is actually less distrubing, as Charles is much younger in that universe. It happens often, teachers falling love with their students, and it happened before in the Ultimate universe with Emma and Charles.

It probably also has to do with the fact that they are both telepaths and can relate to one another in that way. :)

Are you kidding? Vaugns run was the worst the boo kever had. Kirkmans got the book right where it should be,in fact it's the best it's been since Millar was on it.

:woot: :woot: ...I wouldn't call Vaughs run the worst....But I would say since Millars to Vaugh to Kirkman this book has just been up and down.....the book is not as bad as people make it out to be.....Kirkman is just picking up what Millar and Vaugh left for him.....

Lol, yea picking it up and dropping it.

I don't think so.....Millar and vaugh exxagerated Cyclops shyness around girl.......Kirkman followed that......Wolverine and Sabretooh connection to weapon X.....Nightcrawler and Weapon X....Pheonix Developing....and Jean and older man scanerio.....Weapon X was used by Millar...Kirkman Expands on it........all theme are taken from previous arc and expanded.....thats all.....

Yeah. Nobody wants them to get to that story more than me but I'd rather have it put off till the 100th issue than let Kirkman write it :(

You're funny :cmad:

Do you guys care to see Ultimate Apocalypse anytime soon? I hope his first appearance is some big event like the Clone Saga has been for Ult. Spidey. I was thinking that it would be a good idea to bring back Magneto once Apocalypse has already done his damage (or about to do it)..

I don't care much about Ultimate Apoc. That Sinister arc where he was just imagining Apoc worked for me. Bring on Magneto and Longshot!

yeah, bring them on, but bring them on when singer & mcniven take over the title (whenever that's supposed to happen).

No I wasn't being sarcastic at all..I love Kirkmans run and do feel that it is the best the titles been since Millar left.
Vaugns run WAS really bad.

I love Ultimate X-Men..The plots are great and the characters have great styles and all..I am currently collecting this issue.

I've loved Kirkmans run ever since he came on the book. I had never read anythign by him so it's not like I was a "carry over fan".
As for Vaugn, I don't think he really advanced anything. It just seemed liek you were reading a comic they were putting out till Singer came on (which never developed of course) and the only time the art was good was when Brandon Peterson did the book. Don't get me wrong I love Immommens art but sometiems his quick art (like i nultimate FF/x-men etc) dosent always look good. Espcially if youve read superman secret identity.

Dear God make the pain go away!!! :csad: Anyway, that is sort of like the scenario on XML1 if you think about it.
