Can you give a summary of 82?
Nightcrawler goes to the sewer to join the Morlocks, who are building an army in case they are attacked by people from the surface. They want to eventually start a war against humans. Cyclops sends Toad to the sewer to reach out to the Morlocks, but they attack Toad, as well as Nightcrawler after learning he used to be with the X-Men. It is unclear whether or not they escape. Toad's prolonged absence prompts Cyclops, Rogue, and Iceman to go to the sewer after him, though we never see them get there. Meanwhile, Bishop and Storm recruit Pyro for their team, and he accepts their invitation. Bishop says he is recruiting X-Men that he knows will be important in the future (or at least in his future). The issue ends with Bishop, Storm, and Pyro confronting Dazzler about joining them.

This book needs a facelift from a better artist soon, it's starting to ruin it for me.

If they haven't found out Xavier wasn't dead at all, the future is supposed to change after Cable killed him, so how come Bishop knows those important X-men he pickes out are still the ones important in the future?

I'm hoping for a full explanation of why Cable suddenly decided Xavier's dream is wrong, and what is it with those goblins hanging around Jean in the past issues.

I think what they're getting at is that Bishop is drafting mutants that he's familiar with, more than anything else. Granted, they may not turn out to be important in the long run, but he knows full well that they could.

Seriously, I don't see how it's THIS hard to find a decent artist to do some somple art work, it's pissing me off.

Thanks, MAX, for the summary!

Maybe it's just me, but I've grown accustom to the art. In fact, I like it. :D

Damn, can't even get the issue today :csad: Ii'm too use to getting them the first 2 days they release....

I can't help but shake my head at Kurt's crappy timing showing up to the Morlock base right before Toad showed up :(

The art was crappy. Scott looked like he was wearing a red blindfold, and Jean had the odd disproportionate boobs again. Just once I'd like this book to finish a plotline before starting ten new ones.

Why they can't just settle for one nice artist to do the art work, and the rest of them just focus on writing plots?

What's the point in keeping changing the art style?

I know, it's really bugging me (especially b/c of such great artists it used to have).

My Dazzler is back. It bears repeating, but my Dazzler is back! She was my favorite membwr to have been on the Ultimate team. She was defiently the most original and Im glad she will rejoin. Overall the issue was alright but IA with whoever said the art was rough. It wasnt terrible, but it just wasnt all that clean

Ha, you should see FF and BP artists. HORRIBLE.
 Portela's doing a GREAT job on BP, did you get issue 27? Ororo was BERAUTIFUL.

Back on topic, I just got 82, and someone seriously is smoking pot if their THAT lazy of an artist. In the last scene with Jean her face had like a million rinkles in it, and Ororo looked like she was aging rapidly. It was just horrible to withstand. Now to the issue at hand, it was actually good. I almost freaked out when I saw Bishop telporting and what-not, but the "tools" he used cooled me down. I still don't get why he all of a sudden showed up to Storm and she just automatically lended a hand to him...weird. Must be hella interesting to have Dazzler being one of the most powerful and important of a mutant, I hope they keep that little plot in mind and not forget about it :whatever: Overall, I give the issue a solid B.

I haven't seen the art for #82 as yet, but they previous issues were good. Looks like it really is just me with such an opinion though.

The artist for 82 is differen't, thats why. They need to keep one artisit, and a good one at that.

I meant before BP 27 and the artist doing FF during Ororo's stay with the team. And I've checked some of Portela's work, he's actually good. Relatively different from the crappy artists they hire for the series.

^Oh okay, then I see what your talking about. BP 21-23 art work was horrible.

Love the new artist!!! Finally, a issue actually worth withstanding the art! Woohoo!

Wow, whoever picked out that outfit for Wolvie oughtta be shot. And possibly hanged, just to make sure.

On another note, oh look. Ultimate Wolverine and Storm. Hmm.

On ANOTHER note, look what their fighting...and look at Storms outfit  This book is going places....

I love the cover and Storm's new outfit, it's amazing, she looks more mature. I hope the new artist sticks with this book, he's great
