Yeah, easily the best Kirkman's done on the title. It's almost as if he wrote UXM right after he did Invincible. Ok maybe not RIGHT after, but you know...

I agree it really didnt feel crowded at all. Still pissed off that they killed Angel though. Heres hopin Phoenix resurrects him.

No! If anyone needed to die its Bobby, that ****er is so annoying. Angel had so much potential storywise and they never developed it.

Not that I exactly support the idea of killing him(does seem like a lazy shock value device, and resulted in an even lazier shock value device in killing Bishop), but really: a rich daddy's boy with big white wings that looks like an angel, and goes by the name Angel, dating the weird freaky punk girl in classic rebellion motif, where's the story? At least Iceman's powers are beyond versatile. Angel can flap his big wings and fly...

If new stories are what's needed, lets bring Colossus and Northstar to the main team. Now there are some stories!

Dismissing a character based on what his powers are is stupid - and a fault more than enough writers have fallen into. BKV didn't. BKV did something with all of the characters. Why? Because BKV understood that a character's worth is based in the writing of the character and what can be done with a character, not on how SUPARKEWL his powers are.

That's why we have things called plot and character arcs, not power arcs.

Nah theres nothing wrong with Bobby. Angel just sucks here. I cant find anything remotely interesting about him. Im surprised he has much fans. He's been a waste from day 1

Bobby was actually pretty good in the "Amazing Friends" arc in USM, despite the typical teenage male moments. Maybe that's a sign he'll be improving in the future. We all can hope, anyway.
