He would've teleported all four of them the second they saw the wave coming. But naturally Loeb and Marvel's thinking is the story would be more dramatic if heroes died so senselessly.

I like both covers. Not because they look good or anything, but because of what they stand for. It ended like it began.

In short? Loeb is raping the Ultimate universe and has killed Dazzler and Nightcrawler and a good portion of New York. How you may ask? Magneto with Thor's hammer.

Okay, i know this maybe pretty stupid but the first page of Ultimatum said that the fantastic four were teenagers, aren't they like in their early twenties? Same with the X-Men?

This whole Ultimatum thing is annoying. Killing for the sake of killing assuming it will have a shock factor is grade A ass to me. Better writing has been done in the Hype RPGs as of late. Actually...I feel like that alot of the time.

Yes but UXM and UFF is done for the foreseeable future. Taking its place is the continuation to Loeb's craptastic Ultimates story and Ultimate Avengers.

But an Ultimatum for most of the Ultimate characters is not what I want, I only want the X-Men ones. I read and buy comics because of them, not anyone else.

Seriously though, like I stated on another board, I would like some new writers to be brought on board for Ultimate Marvel. I'd like to see some fresh, new perspectives but still hold onto what's been established within Ultimate Marvel as well. Like whatever happened to the "evolutionaries?" (I think that was the term for them) The animal-human mutants (Saluki, Orb-weaver and the Roach girl) were a sub-group of mutants that I thought had potential. I conceived them starting they're own war against human-looking mutants and humanity, kind of like the Ultimate Universe version of the Ani-Men.

I just want some original, solid stuff to start happening soon. That's all.

Nothing was said about them after Mag's return. But considering how viciously Mag's took out Prosimian it's a pretty good bet he wiped out the rest of them.

I'm with you dude. Instead of killing characters for no good reason and doing end of the world type stories they should work with whats been established. Take a couple characters *coughlogancough* out of the picture for a bit and take the time to develop the other lesser know characters.
