Thus far can't help but think that looks almost exactly like the whole set-up with Heroes Reborn: The Return with the whole flooding scernaio.

I'm not so sure about some of those, at least the X-Men.

Angel could easily fly Dazzler up to safety, and Nightcrawler could teleport Beast up to a rooftop.

Yeah the thing with Hank is upsetting. They just brought him back and all.... The first issue of Ultimatum was pretty good. The only question I have is...

...if Mags used Thor's hammer to make the big storm and the wave, how could he wield it? I thought only Thor could use it?

Angel pulled Dazzler out of the water and couldn't get her breathing again, so flying her away isn't going to do much good anymore.

I was assuming they would get the heck out of there once they heard/saw the massive wave of water coming towards them. Apparently, Loeb would just rather have his heroes act like idiots so he can run up the body count.

So glad the only title I read in this universe anymore is USM. Loeb better not touch those characters.

I wouldn't care much if [BLACKOUT]Dazzler[/BLACKOUT] died.

And Magneto seems always to prefer his base look like an egg with some mutated spots...weird taste of house design.

I'm still foggy on why Thor doesn't have it himself. In 616 it would return to him when ever he called it, is that not the same in Ultimate?

Well it seems one of my favorite characters are dead. Im now officially done with Ultimatum. Im not gonna sit here and watch that bastard Loeb kill anymore characters I care about. **** Dr. Doom and Magneto Jeph Loeb is the ultimate universe's greatest villain.

Well, ya gotta figure that when all is said and done and that there will be no more Ultimate X-men or Ultimate FF, that these are the teams that are going to take the most damage.

yeah but its ******** seeing characters I care about dying pointlessly. [blackout]Dazzler, Nightcrawler, Beast[/blackout] and that was just the first ****ing issue! Earth to marvel and Loeb, you can tell a good story without killing heroes! If you can't comprehend that get some fresh writers cause your writing pool is becoming stagnant.

Ultimate Mjolnir doesn't have the same rules as 616 I believe. Remember when that black dude took Thor's hammer and armor in Ultimates 2?



Anyway, I was not happy with the 1st issue. I'm still extremely bitter about UXM and UFF coming to an end as well.

You mean Perun? He didn't take Mjolnir and Thor's armor. His country created weapons and armor to simulate Thor's powers.
