Ultimate X-Men #100 page counts - per character:all the characters should've got some attention. But no Wolverine just needed to hog the final issue.
LOL.Ultimate X-Men #100 page counts - per character:
Wolverine was present on 12 pages. Six of these pages consist of him in one or two panels either sharing the entire page with the other parties of X-Men (latter half of the comic) or conversing with the other members (first half of the comic). Three of the twelve pages consist of him traveling for narrative purposes through the [blackout]Savage Land[/blackout]. Two of the above pages technically consist of a two-page spread, so, really, I should be counting this at 11 pages he appears on, but whatever.
Cyclops is featured on 10 pages. Despite either a two or one page less appearance, he clocks about as many panels as Wolverine does.
Jean is featured on nine pages. She also clocks up a bunch of panels.
Rogue is featured on 11 pages. Two of those pages are a two-page spread, so, 11 or 10 as wanted.
Honorable mentions: Iceman (six pages), Storm (seven pages), Angel (three pages, I think). Xavier sure got shafted with only two pages, with Dazzler getting one, and the butt of Nightcrawler getting one.
Madrox appears on a whopping 18 pages in a number of panels. So, really, if anyone hogged the spotlight in the ultimate issue of Ultimate X-Men, it was that ****ing Multiple Man.
Those rotten crooks at Marvel, making Multiple Man suck up all the page time. It's absolutely criminal. CRIMINAL, I say.
LOL.Nice recap.
But you have to admit el bastard that Wolverine has been seriously overused in 616 and in Ultimate. The guy has 2 ongoing titles (3 counting the Wolverine: Weapon X series thats starting up) aswell as whatever involvement he has in the other X-men titles and New Avengers. Plus they basically made him mutant 0 in Ultimate. They even came out and said that he's the father of the mutant race in Ult Origins. Don't get me wrong Wolverine is awesome in small doses but Marvel is throwing his ass into everything. They even [blackout]have his son in Dark Avengers as *gasp* Wolverine![/blackout] Wow how original.

I admit you were right about that. Than again I don't have the free time nor really give a **** to go through and count how many pages and panels each character had in a issue.3) It has absolutely nothing to do with Ultimate X-Men #100, which is what you were whining/complaining/whatevering about. I corrected that. You were wrong. Say thank you, or admit thy wrongness, and continue *****ing about Wolverine-overexposure or whatever gives you jollies.
haven't you read the Banshee arc? The whole thing is practically about him. They even have Xavier running around with ****ing claws in that arc.5) The only time I can think of him being "seriously overused" in Ultimate X-Men was by his getting an almost-solo arc during Vaughan's run. And that's okay, because Vaughan's run was freaking awesome and glorious.
Yeah, but you sure have the free time to write post after post complaining about how Wolverine takes up ALL the pages of a comic in which he actually does not take up ALL the pages of the comic.I admit you were right about that. Than again I don't have the free time nor really give a **** to go through and count how many pages and panels each character had in a issue.
Oh, yeah. I forgot that one. Most of Coleite's run has been forgettable, sadly, though certainly through no fault of his own. Coleite is a solid writer, and had he come on instead of Kirkman, I think this book would have continued shining.haven't you read the Banshee arc? The whole thing is practically about him. yeah it really felt he was there just to get the title up to issue 100 so they could end it on a milestone.Oh, yeah. I forgot that one. The drug was derived from Wolverine making him a major plot point in the story. Once again linking him to a story that shouldn't have had anything to do with him.The Banshee arc was the best Coleite could do with what looked like Marvel editorial through Bendis and the Ultimate Origins mini. And really, Coleite didn't make it all about Wolverine - as in, Wolverine was not the central star. Really, the arc concerned itself much more as an allegory to drug use and on the characters of Colossus and Cyclops primarily. And Rogue? I think. Unless that was the transitioning of Rogue to the main star slot of Coleite's run. So, again, wrong.
Plot point doesn't matter. Your opinion is that it shouldn't have had anything to do with him - apparently Aron Coleite, the writer, decided it should, whether Bendis, Marvel Editorial, et al pushed it upon him or not. Given the circumstances, I think I'm going to go with the professionals who welded the narrative together. The drug was derived from Wolverine making him a major plot point in the story. Once again linking him to a story that shouldn't have had anything to do with him.
Yep. It sucks. [BLACKOUT]Thor[/BLACKOUT] and [BLACKOUT]Hank Pym[/BLACKOUT] also died in this issue. Though I think that project Pym told Hawkeye to bring up might lead to the resurrection of the fallen heroes.WTF? I just read Ultimatum 3 andPolaris, Emma, Sunspot, Longshot, Cannoball and Forge are all killed within the first panel
That's why they're bringing in new characters. Bendis has already said there's going to be a new Spider-Man after Ultimatum, and I seem to remember hearing the same about Captain America. It has to or else the Ultimate Universe will have nobody in it.
Well that is garbage. Just Scarlet Witch this mess and reset everything. Loeb single handly ruined an entire universe.
