since theres like 200 X-Men now all they have to do is say "Where's Namor?.....He's busy.....OK." and go on to the next scene.

That's true. Namor strikes me as someone who wouldn't like taking orders from Scott (or anybody), anyway. The X-Men aren't exactly hurting for bruisers, either. They've got Colossus, Nezhno, Armor, Warpath, and to a lesser extent: Graymalkin, Rockslide, and Anole's arm.

It'll be good for Iceman's character and confidence building, especially he always thinks that Scott considers him just an adopted immature baby brother. And I'm so happy that Scott no longer keeps ignoring the Professor, you can only be pissed off at your old man for so long (I never lasted being pissed at mine for more than one week).

That's true. Namor strikes me as someone who wouldn't like taking orders from Scott (or anybody), anyway.

He might term the order as a plea for his ability to help, because he is proud (egotist) and the X-Men have helped him before.

What strikes me as weird about Namor's inability to ask for help is the fact that the man should have plenty of experience with that. Even the greatest kings in history had advisors who helped them run everything from trade to warfare.

Did Uncanny come out this week? Diamond says it was due, but neither New Avengers or Uncanny X-Men were in my local store. List and Confession were, but they aren't crucial reading so I didnt bother

I LOVED [blackout]Storm's outburt towards Emma, but it seemed so odd and misplaced and a bit late. Emma has assumed a leadership position ages ago which made Storm look a bit foolish considering she hasnt been a leader in years. Ever since coming back to the X-men, she's stayed quiet and didnt oppose Emma or Scott and now decied to speak up? Oh well, at least it was about time someone did[/blackout]

yea Uncanny came out. List and Confessions were kinda meh so you can pass them up. 'List' was nice just to see some classic X-Men action but the story is straight out of a saturday morning cartoon. and 'Confessions' doesn't reveal anything about Scott's or Emma's secrets and intentions that we hadn't already figured out on our own since the formation of X-Force and Emma's invovlment with the cabal.

and yeah i liked this week's Uncanny. IGN was talking about how 'inorganic' it was, yada yada, but i say a man who went from "Leader of a Team of Superheroes" and is thrusted into the position of "Leader of an Endangered Species", and is shown that he knows where he wants to be but has not idea what to do to get there (also confessing he's made mistakes), and is willing to admit that to his "cabinet"....sounds pretty damn organic to me.

well she did bump head with Scott/Emma in Ellis's first issue in Astonishing.

Maybe you spoke to soon bc he got to his usual angry self with Xavier in the issue. They were once again at odds. And I wouldnt say Iceman has some leadership position now. Scott delegated him to providing fresh water for the island. That was the extent of Bobby's responsibilities

Oh and this has got to be the biggest smile Ive seen on Psylocke's face. She looks very plastic

Speaking of which, what are they gonna do about money? Are they going to remain some third world country that subsists entirely through the donations to Mutantes Sans Frontieres? Where will they get food from? Will Megan, Illyana, Kurt, and Ty just be given Warren's checkbook and told to teleport to the mainland for grocery runs?

lol...Storm seemed so random there bc she's been so laid back and cool for a while now. I think Fraction actually rememebred she is in the back and was the team's leader for over 30 years. Still seemed off her to act like she was ready to throw down with Emma in a group meeting when she wasnt even provoked

I think Warren is the convenient answer to the financial problems. If not him, then Dazzler can still hussle doing her late night concerts in random clubs...lol. Speaking of which we got to see the back of her head in this issue and I knew it was her by the "dazzler diamonds" surrounding her. Dont ya just love how she's been utilized since returning?

I think they were said to be mutants during the 90's and that the drugs that were forced down their throats simply activated their latent powers, but they said that they weren't mutants during Utopia.

Another blonde female that has a thing for barely there all white clothes. They aren't doing their job unless they make her completely identical to Emma, you know.

well Scott did bring up things like food when he spoke to the mayor. also mutants are still free to come and go from Utopia as they please so they could just as easily stay in San Fran where food is already available.

At least when the mutants were living in the middle of a major city, it would've been impossible for an anti-mutant terrorist group to drop an atomic bomb on them without taking out millions of human casualties to get at 300 mutants.
