I just thought of something, maybe a little late but...
When Magneto brought back Kitty, its a little likely that either Rachel or Polaris would have sensed a huge metal bullet suddenly change direction in space.

Polaris obvs cos its made of metal.
and Rachel (although with less powers) could sense it.

It could be a reason for them coming back.

theyre just going home. they werent around nor are they even aware of the whole Breakworld incident, so if either of them can sense the giant bullet it means absolutely nothing to them.

I beleive, they were all captured and prisoners of Vulcan during Breakerworld

Besides space is HUGE! Theres nothing to indicate that they would have made contact with that bullet

How would they even sense the giant bullet? They're currently in another galaxy. I somehow doubt Lorna and Rachel can feel the movement of celestial bodies near Earth.

Dammit; after Colossus, Nightcrawler (Iceman and Kitty) are the X-men I care most about. It's going to suck not having Kurt around. My guess is that someday we'll get him back, but I hope they show Colossus extremely PISSED at this since Kurt was his best friend. Peter, Logan & Kurt are like brothers. Wolverine is not the only one who should have extreme anger at this.

It's a bittersweet trade-off, though. She comes back home to discover Doug and Meggan are back, but she just missed Illyana (who just got dragged to hell a few issues ago), Kurt just got killed, and Rachel is stuck in space.

LOL, how sad but true. I too like that Namor is part of the X-Men. It not like he was doing anything anywhere else.

At least joining the X-Men gave him an opportunity to rebuild his kingdom. Otherwise, he doesn't do much outside of the occasional action scene and a few throwaway lines about how he's still better than everyone else on Earth.

See that's a good idea. Rebuild the kingdom through the X-resources and embrace his mutant heritage but other than the Annual there hasn't been too much attention brought to why he's around.

1. Holy crap, the Days of Futures Past wall!

...wait a minute. That means they're in Rachel's future. Are all of the alternate futures shared now?


2. Kudos to Terry Dodson for putting "KRON4" on a news camera. That's the name of an actual local station. I love that man's creative attention to detail.


3. I also love Dodson's Fantastic Four. Why has he never drawn on that title?


4. I love that the Fantastic Four and Avengers are showing up and trying to do something. It's weird how all of the superhero teams always sorta glossed over the X-Men every time a huge disaster landed on their front door. Sentinels, bombs, invasions-- nobody ever batted an eye during the countless times Chuck's house got blown up. So it's nice to see other heroes get involved when disaster strikes.
