I really like the idea of Mysterio doing that to Spidey that people are tossing around:up:

I can see Peter laying down in the chair, with the psychiatrist talking to him. Then JJJ comes in the door and you see Parker laying back in his office chair and he is at work. JJJ yells at him to get back to work:D

Lizard, Mysterio, Vulture, Electro, or Chameleon. Those are the choices I would like for SM4.

Former ediror-in-chief, Tom DeFalco said Mysterio is the deadliest villain.

"Mysterio allows you to throw Spider-Man into weird and strange environments, putting him in places and pitting him against obstacles that you never expect to see. He is a real danger to Spider-Man,both physically and mentally. Things that Spider-Man thinks is real and really isnt, can potentially drive him insane. Things that he thinks are illusions, are actually real and that can cause serious damage in any which way for him,for whatever reason".

It seems that Mysterio is gaining some steam, which I think is good. He has to potential to be a really awesome villain, and a threat to Spider-Man in a way that no other villain in the series has been. If you can somehow tie in his story organically with another, lesser villain, that would make for one kick-ass movie, in my opinion.

Lizard should still be paired with Kraven, because that three-way dynamic also poses a totally new and interesting challenge.

To me, the most natural pairing seems to be Mysterio/Scorpion. They would tie in thematically, in that JJJ would try to sell Scorpion to the public as a real superhero, while making Spider-Man look like a villain. Lots of fun truth/reality/illusion stuff. Maybe have Mysterio play mind-games with Spider-Man, JJJ, Scorpion, the citizens of New York, and turn them against one another at will. Maybe Mysterio is the one who manipulates Scorpion into thinking JJJ is the enemy? AND uses him as the brute force he lacks against Spider-Man? These are all just ideas, but I think that's the route to go if you want to make Scorpion more than just a physical threat/Poor Man's Doc Ock.

I'm sticking with Lizard so we get a chance to see Spidey fight a somewhat more feral villain. Venom can get there when he's pissed, but he's still intelligent.

The way I see it. You can Spidey in 2 dilemmas.

1) He has trouble catching his friend and mentor, the Lizard.

2) He has trouble dealing with a villain who can get in your head and mess you up,however the villain sees fit.

Peter had a lot of guilt in 3. He struggles with it. Spider-Man has always had strong guilt and emotions in the films. Having Mysterio unleash those thoughts from Spidey would make him stronger when he fights Mysterios hallucinagons, thus turning the boy into a man. If he overcomes his demons thats haunted him since the 1st movie,he can deal with anything. Leading to greater challenges ahead.

Silent Hill for example. The town projects the fears, horrors and weaknesses, directly from the characters mind. By the end (if you get the good ending) the character comes out a new and stronger person,as they have overcome the challenges.

Peter has a strong imagination anyway. The greater that, the greater danger it is to Peter himself!!!

The Imaginarium of Mysterio!!!

You already know what everyone will say......We don't want another goblin. LOL, but I wouldn't mind seeing Hobby in a 5th or 6th movie

I know... but they don't see things the way I see it, to be fair to them. Neitherless...

well, it would be a waste to let that sliver mask go unused...

I was always curious about this, and quite frankly, I always thought it was awesome how he had variant masks in S-M3. A little nod to the fans for Hobgoblin even if he wasn't gonig to be in this series, is what i always thought.

I liked how it was in the game too.

I sort of wish Harry used that instead of that snowboard crap.

^^ I thought Harrys suit worked with what they were going for. Heck, honestly, I thought the suit was awesome. I mean, rember what Sam said. he wassn't trying to become the Goblin. He made the suit for the sole purpose of going after to peter and only Peter.

Embracing his fathers Goblin legacy to the full extent wouldve been better. Using the same gear and persona of his dead father to kill Peter wouldve been superior.

THE GEAR WAS RIGHT THERE ON THE PLATE!!! But instead he had to create his own...

Harry's change of the costume made very little sense. Why fix it if it aint broke? Hell, if he had kept the helmet in one piece, he wouldnt have knocked himself out and might have taken Peter out. :gg: :bomb:

I hope the next villain is the Lizard and maybe Carnage but if not him maybe Mysterio.... or someone else.... Scorpion would be good too.

but then Willam DeFoe could not have been in SM3 in the form of an illusion.... unless....wait.....GASP:wow:....MYSTERIO AND GOBLIN ARE THE SAME PERSON!!!!!

someone call sam raimi, i think i just figured out his plot!!!!

it may not of been broken, but, it wasn't enough to stop spidey the first time around

ever think that maybe it didn't fit him, do you know how hard it is to have something like that, taken in

It's less of a leap of logic to think it did, than to think it didn't.

In movie business, one thing is to leave some stuff out of the picture by redundancy and it favours the movie. Another is leaving stuff out and leaving it for the audience to make up what happen.

Harry couldve updated the costume slightly. But his board was the main disaster for him. ITS WHAT GOT HIM INJURED SEVERAL TIMES AND THEN KILLED BY VENOM. Worse than the Glider.
