What villain should appear in the next movie?

Well the casting is probably going on right now but it's hard to say if they will spill the beans before filming .

No Carnage till the Venom spinoff. In my opinion I think we could try the Goblin arc once more, with HobGoblin. I would say DemoGoblin, cause he fits into Raimi's thing for supernatural things, but it wouldn't fit into the Spider-Man Movie-verse. Hobby would be cool to see too. Other then that Electro, Vulture, Mysterio, and others would be enjoyable for me to see on screen.

If you actually take electro's classic costume and put it next to Mysterio's classic costume, I'd definitely go with Mysterio looking more intimidating.Now powers. yeah i see your point and i doubt they would go with the classic Electro look. i kinda like the Ultimate Comics look though with the bald head. but it would take a lot of convincing for me to feel Peter suffering from lame illusions. not knocking what your looking forward to but that's just my opinion.

For me the ideal line-up of the Sinister Six, following the film continuity, would be Mysterio, Scorpion, Shocker, Rhino, Vulture and Chameleon.
My approach to the Sinister Six would be that they are all less formidable foes than Spidey previous encounters, or the ones like Electro or Lizard. Most of them would be ordinary men using some kind of new technology. They wouldn't be mutants with powers like Sandman or Electro's and they wouldn't be the same calibre as the Goblin or Dock Ock, because then Spidey wouldn't stand a chance.
Mysterio would be a sort of a leader, with Scorpion as a ultimate weapon against Spidey, Shocker would fire sonic vibrations, Rhino would be the brawn of the group, Vulture the aerial support, while Chameleon the spy and infiltrator. I think that characters like Tooms, Gargan and Beck could be introduced even in the 4th film, but not as villains, just a scene or two.. an introducing cameos. And for the rest I think that the SS should be treated as a team, not as separate villains like the big three or Sandman, Electro or Lizard. They should be like the brotherhood is to the X-Men. An organization formed to stop and defeat already framed Spider-Man by Mysterio and Chameleon. But then the things would go wrong and they will become a terrorist organization that would turn against the state.

couldn't disagree with you more in the next 2 films they should introduce some new villains but not those. they should use villains we've already seen. I don't know about Sandman since he was boo hooing over his daughter and Peter forgave him for his uncle. Venom should Return, Doc Ock should return. Spidey 4 if Lizard is in it theres 3 members so far. the other 3 should be Hobgoblin, Electro & Kingpin. But I prefer more than anything Sandman to be part of the crew since we've already seen him maybe somehow have Kingpin brainwash him into thinking Spidey is the enemy. The reason for the returns of the villains is so we can build on the development of the characters especially the one that didn't get that much screen time VENOM!!! u bring new villains into it then your starting from scratch and theres not enough sequels, money, time and patience for that.
 
I reckon Mysterio could definitely work. He can use any and eveything. Robots. Hallucinations. Aliens. Illusions. Traps. Pratically everything.

Venom will return eventually in a future sequel, and there will be Carnage with him, let's face it... they make the money. Now Dock Ock's story was done and finished. Maybe he was not the same character as we know from the comics, but the movie version was perfect in it's own way. If Ock returns how could you return and watch the end of the second film with credibility. In the end he redeemed and he was seen dead sinking to the bottom. Out of all villains he is the only one that there is no chance to return. But I hope Norman does, as he did in the comics, and only for the final film, for the grand finale. In that part I would like to see Hobgoblin. I don't think that a goblin should ever be a team player, and a member of the six, also a mindless beast like the Lizard. It will not work!
As for the Sinister Six line-up I suggested that the team should consist of villains that are not likely to hold a film by their own... villains like Shocker, Rhino, Vulture & Chameleon. After the Goblin, Dock Ock, Venom and Sandman I can't see them be interesting and possessing a serious threat. Mysterio and Scorpion could, also Electro and Lizard; but for me a mindless beast as is the Lizard could not be a team player so I rule him out. Electro IMO should be a solo villain for part 4, because the range of his power. Maybe even Sandman should return, but not to have a great role. So it leaves Mysterio and Scorpion to be part of the team, also all of them are ordinary human with high-tech. I personally don't care for the characters of Herman Shultz, O'Hirn, Tooms, even Beck in their pre villain life. They are all interesting villains but not that important to be a part of Peter's own personal life.

And Carnage is a one-dimensional sterotypical crazy serial killer who wears an alien suit, one that was created to make money purely on its looks not character.. Whoop tee freakin doo. :oldrazz:

And yes, I mean that Carnage is not considered a classic villain
 
I know what will happen. Good guy Connors turns bad. He goes on a rampage. Peter is having a crappy time with MJ. Jonah gives him abuse. Krazy Kraven comes along and knacks things up. Somebody close to Peter dies. Lizard kidnaps MJ. Beats both villains. Lizard reverts back to normal and Kraven dies. Spidey learns a lesson. THE END
 
What if Jonah tries to create a superhero (Scorpion) to take on the Lizard and when spidey gets in the way,Jonah's so called hero goes after spidey.
 
MarketSaw also last week said that a new trilogy of Star Wars movies were going to be made.
 
They may as well just use Lizard. Baker is an accomplished actor and has had to be a semi-bit player for the whole of the series, may as well bump him up to supporting cast.
