Messiah CompleX. Hepzibah was part of the team then, and Charles knew Scott was sending an assassin team to kill Cable.
That doesnt count. They werent an assembled team of killer assasins. That team was a precursor to the current X-force, but not really the same. For all intents and purposes that was a 1 time thing that people thought only existed during MC. Hepzibah doesnt know about the current incarnation. Early on in the series she and Warpath were having communication problems and he was keeping his distance bc he couldnt talk to her about the stuff he was doing in X-force. Xavier was long gone by this point

Here's a question -- why the heck did Laura burn her severed arm instead of just sticking it right back on like Deadpool does? Wouldn't it just reattach itself?

I will take a guess, maybe it would take too long for it to reattach and be usuable, so she decided it would be easier to fight one handed and get rid of it. Also, burning it gets rid of it so they can't clone her from it. I guess.

I also liked the fact they showed Laura's human side, when she broke down and started crying about how there is nothing she can do about Kimura. Good times with character development.

Dammit, when is Sex and Violence coming out already? That's the only book I really care about.

LOL, we saw the promos for that so long ago you'd think we would have read it by now already. :p

Is this book worth picking up? I've been curious about it for a while. Should I get back issues? If not, where should I start?

Definitely worth getting, and start at the beginning, you'll be glad you did imho

I may be a biased fan but its been consistently the best X book Ive been reading since it launched. Great art, great action, and overall an enjoyable read

I love the book. Its very easy to pick up and read. My only problem is that sometimes the art is a little visually confusing in what they are trying to depict.

but its incredibly beautiful so its forgiving. Theres no doubt that this is the best looking book that Mavel has. Choi and Crain make an amazing duo

I'd say the only X book better than this one is X-Factor, which has also been consistantly good since it launched. :)

X-Factor def had a low point for me. PAD knew it too, because when the book got awesome again with those 2 issues we weren't supposed to talk about online, he even said "it's time to take the book back in it's intended direction". I'm guessing he was forced to write some crap he didn't wanna.

X-factor has far from been consistent. It went downhill after Messiah Complex and even most X-Factor fans that Ive read from have acknowledged that. I hear its better now but Ive since dropped it so I wouldnt know. BUT I wont get into my dislike for the title here. Suffice it to say its not my cup of tea

I've loved the art in X-force...and the story was amazing (and i've only read vol1)...probablly my fav X-team second to New X-men.

And as the rest of the X-Men fight mutants back from the dead, Wolfsbane struggles to survive a very different threat. PLUS!! The long awaited return of the VANISHER. PART TWO (of FIVE)

when Kimura's talking to Laura about killing "Megan" who does she mean? Pixie?

Heh. Wow...Tower, Rusty, the WWII mutants. They are really going back. I didn't know some of these guys were dead.

God, I have so much wikipedia'ing to do. Who the F are these people!? :(

And oh look, Wolfsbane is in trouble and most likely helpless again. Why do the writers hate her so much?
