I wouldnt count Sabertooth out yet anyway. I would expect Sabertooth to appear in the climax of the arc.

In "Necrosha," do you have any plans to bring back people like Banshee, Mariko Yashida, Sabretooth, Omega Red, and/or Peepers? Banshee would cause a major impact in the lives of the X-Men and Syrin over in "X-Factor," Mariko Yashida and Sabretooth would give Wolverine some major drama, and the last two are just plain cool. Thoughts?

KYLE: I just think that within the first two issues of "Necrosha," people are going to be seeing a flood of people being brought back, from the most obscure – maybe not Peepers obscure – to the coolest. Do you want to answer the Sabretooth question?

YOST: You go ahead.

KYLE: No, we're not. We touched on him when the clones were used in Sinister's lab several storylines back when Domino joined the team, so we kinda felt like "been there, done that," and we try not to repeat ourselves in an arc.

YOST: And the other thing is, Selene's not dumb. There are mutants out there that are really powerful, and bringing them back would be dangerous. Sabretooth's not necessarily one of them, but there are mutant out there that she would say "no" to…like Peepers.

Wolverine got him with the Muramasa blade as Romulus pitted Wolvie, Sabes, Omega Red, Daken and Wild Child together as he was searching for his successor. Its down to Wolvie and Daken IIRC

I also liked the fact they showed Laura's human side, when she broke down and started crying about how there is nothing she can do about Kimura. Good times with character development.

THat's what made me want to get to this issue so bad. I heard people mention that and I'm glad they're remembering she's human. The scene where Logan was popping his claw and talking about Laura was a good one, you can really tell the guy cares about her.

On of my few complaints on this series is the criminal underuse of Wolfsbane, they've shown great storyline potential for her, but she's been on the sidelines moving at a snail's pace for how many arcs now? Urrrgh

Yea, I was thinking Hope was somehow gonna cure the TO virus and then something else related to her results in the X-gene being unlocked (cause, while curing all the genoshians of the TO would dramatically boost the mutant population, the X-gene would still be missing in future generations.) Hopefully, things are brought back to "normal" after these two events, I've missed mutants for a long time.

Well that settles it, I'd put money on her curing the TO virus. She just happens to have a chaperon that's 30% infected with it? Nah, she'll cure all the infected people and maybe(hopefully) Cable....as long as he doesn't go all Burnt Offering on us again.

I meant the concept the whole original idea of "this could happen to you or your kids" thing, also with them nearly extinct, the whole "hate and fear them lets get sentinelz hoo ah" bit loses some punch, granted there are powerful mutants remaining, but still. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm tired of the endangered angle.

I forgot to mention that I loved the use of history with Berzerker wanting to go after Scott, considering he is the one that originally killed him. Thats something I forgot and am surprised was rememebred by the writers

At first when I heard of Necrosha I wasn't all that interested, but from what I've seen, I'm enjoying it. It was great to see Banshee and others back, I hope they permanently bring back several of these people.
