X-23 and Elixir got X-Force uniforms, but everyone else is still wearing the training uniform with the giant guards over their wrists. The kids who made it into the Young X-Men are wearing new sleeveless variants of the training uniform without the huge wrist-guards (including Dust, whose dress is now black/yellow striped), and Armor has always been wearing one of Shadowcat's spare uniforms with the sleeves ripped off ("Ms. Pryde has long arms").

Those kids need new unique uniforms. They're no longer in training. At least give their uniforms some new flare, like the New Mutants' new variant with the giant X going across their bodies.

Aside from a flurry of cameos in the Utopia crossover, nope. Hisako is still the only kid in Astonishing, Megan is the kid of Uncanny (with Hisako popping up as her roommate), and Laura & Josh are the kids of X-Force. The Young X-Men (Anole, Rockslide, Cipher, Graymalkin, and Dust) and the leftover kids (the Stepfords, Mercury, Nezhno, Loa, Surge, Hellion, Prodigy, and Match) are stuck in Cameo Hell.

I actually liked the individual uniforms that they had right after House of M. I'll never understand why they had to go and give those craptacular generic ones to them during Messiah Complex.

Hopefully, with what Carey has said, that is what will be done with Legacy in the near future, use those background kids more.

well i dont like her costume to begin with. i wish it was something reminiscent of her 80s costume, updated of course. a star on her crotch isnt enough...and creepy.

Dazzler needs a haircut. She looks too much like Emma to me and she's one female character who I always thought looked best with a shorter do

All those kids get about as much panel time as the other Cameo hell X-men and by that I mean the X-men who arent Scott, Emma, Beast, Wolverine, Colossus and Angel. These days there really isnt much of a difference between lets say Mercury and Iceman, Pixie and Dazzler, Rockslide and Nightcrawler, etc...

I can't fault him for that.

The Land at the Phoenix story, I'd agree, yes, later ones, I don't think so.

But it's individual preference, there's no right or wrong for that.

Land's art is ****ing horrid. As horrid as fake, plastic pornstars. Oh, wait.

If he at least had some idea of the comics medium, it wouldn't be quite so bad. And he used to, kind of. And that went away somewhere.

Land has no sense of technique or style. His women rarely ever have the same faces. By that, I mean you'd be lucky if Emma Frost had the same face in multiple panels on the same page. He clearly traces many of his faces and poses from pornography and pop culture magazines, which causes characters to have inappropriate facial expressions. He reuses a lot of his own artwork, which gives us many instances where different characters will inexplicably have the same face and pose. He can't even structure action sequences that well. Half the time he draws Beast, he literally traces the head of a lion and puts it on top of a large bipedal body. Greg Land's faces might look pretty, but that's literally all his art has going for it.

The only major issue I really have with Land is the excessive smiling. His characters smile way too much in inapprorpiate moments and poses. Other than that I dont mind that he traces. His art may not be the best but its far from being the worst. I can look at his art and not cringe unlike some other artists who have worked on these books

One thing for sure is that he can trace.

It's an ability which is good in itself, just not really what I want, or not what I want unless he puts efforts into his tracing.

Would be cool to see Hellion join in on that considering his history with her, but I have a feeling he will amount to just being a generic cameo, not necesarily adding to the plot

I loved the last issue. I just hate Kimura's back. I thought Emma get rid of her for good, but it doesn't look like it.

BTW, did anyone notice Choi drew X-23's arm wrong? It's supossed to be her left arm but it looks like the right one.
