what's to come of spider-man 3.1? or whatever it's called. I know we all wanted to give sam a chance to show his worth with spider-man 4, but if they release this, we could still see how good it is. and if the extra stuff is in there, it could be great.



I for one REALLY want to see this thing, and I'd like to think that this will help it be released sooner, since they wouldn't want to remind us of the old movie when the new one comes.

I would love to see it but I don't think that even if Sam was offered a chance to work on a Spider-Man 3.1 Extended Cut now that he would do so. However Sony & Marvel may try to put one together themselves whether it be restored or just a re-release of the Spider-Man 3 theatrical version with deleted scenes on the disc just to make more money off of it.

Now Sony wants you to forget about the original trilogy. I doubt there will be any new anything of Raimi's Spidey franchise for at least another 20 years.
