Iron Man 2 Olivia Munn Has Been Cast!

Some aspects of TSSM I enjoyed, but not all of it. I much preferred the first season than the second anyways.

It makes sense that Iron Man got renewed for a second season though. Lately, all of Marvel's projects have been given two seasons. The realization is that will Iron Man be given a third, because all other Marvel cartoons have not been granted such a treat.

While TSSM will be stuck at two seasons simply due to bureaucratic stupidity, despite the fact that it has better ratings, better sales in DVD and toys, and better received by critics and fans than the Iron Man show.

You'd think Marvel/Disney and Sony would have settled the matter by now.

My money is on Jessica Drew. She's been heavily involved with SHIELD and other organizations in the past, and SHIELD is a big part of the Iron Man movies already.
She looks like Jessica too, IMHO.
OR... a really random guess could be Carol Danvers, because she said "Who is this Marvel?"

I don't really want to see Olivia get the role of someone important like Madame Masque or Wanda. They need to get a genuine actress for roles like that, not just a pretty face.

I'm hoping she's playing Maria Stark. I heard a rumour Tim Robbins was going to play Howard Stark at one point and it would be interesting to get into Tony's origins a bit more.

She was definitely playing Iron Maiden but I think it was only in a Stark dream sequence where there is some sort of dominatrix action going on...so it was a nod to the Maiden character without using the ridiculousness of it in the reality of Iron Man....I think she will play some sort of Shield Agent now...sucks...Delted Scenes it is then.....There is even a Iron Maiden figure I saw it at a Convention and it was a Iron Man 2 figure

why is it facepalm worthy...they had to introduce a character from the Marvel Universe....seems logical they may give here a bit part...much like the colossus cameo in X2

I always thought this particular rumor was dumb. Mostly because she had spoken about her time on set and her scenes with RDJ, when whoever is War Machine's JARVIS wouldn't have been on set for scenes, but would have had a recording session.

^ not necessarily true... it's not uncommon when mixing voice work with live action to have the voice actor on set (but off camera) to do the lines with the actors so the interactions really seem genuine.

that said, i hope this is not the case and that Ms. Munn is given a real, on camera part

Good directing can boost poor acting... and i think Favreau has the talent to do that. Besides, it's really not likely that she will play a role that is vital to the success of the film. most likely just some fun aside that was added into the script.
