haha! Figured. This is one of the reason I kinda resent the SLJ cameo. I remember the talk of the forums for TIH was all about cameos and not the movie itself. It's a fun topic, but then people get disappointed when it's not a crossover buffet.

Yeah. I mean, introduce as many key-players are you can now with Iron Man 2 and Thor, make those cameo-city. Captain America should strictly be the set up to The Avengers.

A lot of people like the cameos to be a surprise but I am happy they leak. That way people know what to expect and aren't upset when it's not what t hey envisioned. Because let's get honest here....some of the ideas of what people guess it'll be like is a lot more detailed than what we actually get lol. Which is fine, just I hate to see people disappointed over what is essentially just a fun little easter egg.

I agree and i'm pretty confident he won't really have any cameos in his stand alone film. Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't they say his movie is pretty much going to take place entirely during WWII?

Although I tend to break down and read about them, I also like for them to be a surprise because I don't have crazy expectations for them. Like you said, they're basically little easter eggs and mainly for the fans.

Honestly, aside from the general audience members who have sons/daughters/cousins and whatnot who are comic fans telling them about how these films and the cameos are all leading up to The Avengers film, i'm willing to bet the majority of the GA has no idea what's going on.

As far as I know, I think they only know about there being some kind of team thing going on from the scene at the end of TIH where Stark mentions that to General Ross in the bar because lets face it, how many members of the GA actually saw or went online and heard about the scene at the very end of the credits for IM. Some of you may think this is a stretch but I have a good feeling a lot of them who even bought IM on DVD/Blu-Ray probably still haven't seen it because not many people other than us fanboys(of all films, not just comic films)sit through all of the credits.

What are we going on here? Being that some of us don't like that Munn might be or is the Wasp? If it's true,I actually had a feeling a few days ago,her becoming the female equivalent of Ironman wouldn't have made sense at all. If she had chosen that role. I know it could have happened impulsively but wasn't feeling it after a while,she may be a bad actress,but I haven't heard from anyone suggesting that she is here.

I like Olivia. I think she is gorgeous, and I've seen her act a little and she isn't that bad. She's certainly not a BLACK VORTEX OF UNHOLY SUCKY ACTING THAT WILL END LIFE AS WE KNOW IT IF SHE PLAYS WASP OR SOMETHING GASP SHOCK CRY OMG PLEASE HELP US SWEET BABY JESUS! that some of these fanboys want to make her out as.

Damn, whatever happened to giving someone a chance? Jon wouldn't have given her a role, much less a bloody RE-SHOOT with a new character if he didn't think she was cool. He didn't just lose all his directorial instincts overnight and start giving out roles to random passersby.
