OMG, i almost had a heart attack!!

my brother came into the computer area and i had my dog on my lap just checking the MB and he's like "OMG, whats that???" I looked down to my right onto the carpet and there is a HUGE spider, and the cat is just staring at it. That thing was uglllllly. I got out of my chair faster that i ever thought i could move. Anyone know how to keep them to a minial?? (note i am deathly afraid and i know you cannot get rid of them all.)

I'll have you know, sir, that I am not afraid of creepy crawlies and will always put my foot forward to help a lady in need.

But I'm no barbarian. I shall attempt to catch them with my bare hands and gently release them into the wild where they belong.

The lady shall then have peace of mind and the creatures will get to live out their lives. Everybody wins.

Honest to God, ma'am, if you really had a heart attack, I'd be concerned. It was a spider. Pick them up with a cup and paper, let them outside, and be done with it.

It's getting colder so spiders and insects are starting to move indoors where it's warmer. Put down a good spider/insect barrier down around the base of your house and it should help.

I was brushing my teeth the other night and there was a pretty big spider. I watched it for a while, then I got a cup and an empty gum slip package. I put the cup over the spider and it curled up into a ball, lol, it was cute.
