Once Upon A Time In Wonderland

So I take it the London, England that the Knave busted Alice out of isn't our London, England but another fairytale realm

Yes.

Re: Neal/Baelfire, he DID come to our world first; he just didn't stay in our world.

Ugh. The numbers were not good.

ABC really ****ed this thing over with this timeslot/not keeping it closer to the mothership.

They only were not good, they were downright HORRID. Lowest premiere in that timeslot yet. See I knew this wouldn't break ABCs own curse on this timeslot. Hope they make some moves and give it Betrayals timeslot or something. And they probably shouldn't have marketed it so much on the romance.

It got a better demo number than Zero Hour, but that's it.

This not doing better than at least Charlie's Angels makes no sense to me. Last Resort was a male-based show on ABC, how did that do so much better? Paul Lee's a fool. At this point, just ****ing put something established or on its last legs in that slot. Stop throwing new stuff into the line of fire like that.

Maybe push Revenge back to 10 and put it behind original flavor Once. But yeah, those numbers are not good at all. Well, at least they seemed positive that even if the numbers weren't good, they'd let it play out since it's originally designed as a limited series anyway. They let Last Resort play out last year at least, so I think they'd do the same for this.

Hope it maybe does well in DVR/Live+7 play.

ABC where I am just does a repeat of the previous Once Upon A Time before the new one. So just move Once Upon A Time to 7 then Wonderland at 8. The repeat is just taking up space

They should have stuck to their original guns and kept it as a limited run series during the holiday break for OUAT.

They got too greedy. Oh well, at least they will probably let the entire show play out since it'll be done in 13 episodes anyway and there's nothing better they can put on in that timeslot.

With as glutted as Thursdays are these days, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a decent bump because everyone else was watching other stuff and had to record it.

That sounded like such a great strategy, too... 35 straight weeks of OUAT content. Then it was like "Nope, how's thursday at 8 sound?"

This ****ing network. First Happy Endings, now this.

Yeah, it still boggles me a bit that they didn't do that.

What is technically a teen drama in a fantasy setting vs shows such as The Big Bang Theory. Who ever came up with this idea should be fired & whoever approved of it should also be fired

God, why do so many people watch that ****ing show... :o

Small consolation, but at least it did better than Betrayal and Lucky 7, and unlike the both of those two, without the benefit of any lead in.

TBBT made me see Raiders of the Lost Ark in a new light. :o

Did you Americans/Canadians understand Michael Socha because most North Americans didn't seem to understand his sister because of her accent in Misfits?

I understood him more on this than I did on Being Human.

At least the premiere was very good. I don't know if maybe because it was the premiere but I liked how big the world of Wonderland was compared to FTL which is just a castle and a forest.

But how the hell you gonna show us Cinderella here but we haven't seen her since her episode in Season 1?!? Better remedy that after Neverland is over.

Was that opening scene suppose to be pre-Emma breaking the curse or post?! At first I thought it was taking place during the Season Two premiere when the Wraith was terrorizing Storybrooke but then they showed Emma's bug and I thought that was her entering the town....

I see some complaining about the CGI, but considering the sheer volume of what was needed, I thought it looked good. The only bit that made me raise an eyebrow was Alice and the Knave walking down that road at the end. Looked like they were walking through a video game or something.

And were the flashbacks of Alice/Cryus leading up to him going over the cliff, suppose to have happened with a child Alice?

No. Alice's original adventure happened then she came back to her family which we saw at the beginning of the episode.

She then went back to get proof of Wonderland's existence (The White Rabbit in her bag) when she met Cyrus and she stayed and traveled around with him for an unknown period of time before she came back again and was put in the asylum.

Pretty sure it's post curse, with the Wraith happening, because of the storm, but also because Cinderella wasn't preggers anymore either, so it's definitely not when Emma first entered town.

The present-day events Wonderland-based events are set post-Curse, so, yes, the Storybrooke scene was post-curse as well.

Question? I watched the episode last night and thoroughly enjoyed it but I was kind of slow on the uptake. Do I need to watch all of Once Upon A Time to follow Wonderland? I plan on watching it (Netflix) but I happened onto this show last night and thought it was pretty good but was confused on the Knave of Heart and the Mad Hatter--kind of like they existed in another show which I assume is OUAT.
