If it reinstates the secret ID and kills off the organics while also wiping Sins Past away, heck that would be pretty sweet.

Ever since Spidey unmasked himself, I have always thought it wasn't right. Remember in the old Spidey comics how Peter was nervous that Captain Stacy found out his secret identity, and he had to change the subjest quickly? I want that Spidey back again, not the Spidey who unmasks himself.

If this means that Spidey will have his secret identity back, then that would be fantastic news IMO.

I just went to my local shop to make sure I get the variant cover for OMD. Hopefully nothing wrong will happen and I end up with the regular. The variants are a lot better than the regulars!

I agree with you on the head, it just look's horrible there, though I am liking Joe Q's rendition of Spider-Man, just not the SSM cover.

No, it's because, as usual, Quesada has drawn one of the aliens from MARS ATTACKS in the Spidey suit, rather than anyone with even vaguely human physical characteristics.
( Oh yeah, and the reason JQ's version of a "classic" cover "feels wrong" is because he simply hasn't the talent to pull it off.)

Actually, I'm sure most people here agree that he pull it ff with the 1st one.

Saying that, I much prefer all of the varient covers. They're incredibly subtle, yet bursting with emotion.
