I thought JQ's human characters look normal, all except Peter Parker.
I have no idea why
I have no idea why

What proof? I'm pretty positive everybody, at this juncture, knows that Back in Black was a shameless promotional tie-in with the movie. The storyline didn't REALLY have a need for him to put the black suit on, they just sort of plopped it into the storyline as a little Easter Egg to the movie.
No one is denying it. Marvel did it with the previous two, why would it stop them from doing it with the third?![]()
You're always unimpressed with Spider-Man comics, haha. Maybe once or twice you're impressed. That sucks that you've got such a pessimistic view of the Spidey books. I can't help that. You can't help that. And Marvel really can't help that because they are just doing their thing.

When one compares his Daredevil work to this, one has to ask "what the hell happened?!?" Most people improve with age. Joe Q has gone from putting out solid A+ work to whatever 'One More Day' was. It had some okay scenes, but for the most part two thoughts crossed my mind... rushed and Jay Leno. Maybe he should have spent ANOTHER year on it.![]()
No it wasn't. Yes, Aunt May's life hung in the balance during Back In Black but that story arc really had a lot more to do with Peter Parker going after The Kingpin and letting him and the criminals know that you don't mess with Peter Parker and his family.
One More Day, yes, has Aunt May's life hanging in the balance but this story seems to, so far, be about Peter Parker finding any means necessary to bring his Aunt out of the coma and to, oh...I don't know...maybe have "One More Day" with her, heh.![]()
Obviously. So, no, I guess it really doesn't take too much to impress me.
I'm having a great time with my Spider-Man comics and getting plenty of enjoyment. Don't be all jealous.

Ok what in the heck does Doctor Strange and "Hands of Death" and the " Necrophagous Nightstalkers" have to do with Spiderman and Aunt May dying in the hospital?? someone please tell me where this story is going??
Dangerous: No reply to #855 farmer?
You may be right on the point that Aunt May won't die, and i may be wrong on that one.
I am not sure who will die, although JQ and Marvel have stated in an overly excited way, to alert us all, that SOMEONE will be thrown under the bus and will be taking a dirt nap. Someone whose shoulder he will no longer be able to cry on.
It seems like their description (not mine) could only equal Aunt May or MJ....?
Who else does Pete go to cry on??? LOL
And since I doubt they are gonna make Pete into a widower....i thus surmise it would/will be Aunt May.
I would find it cheesy, after bringing May back after her nicely done death in #400....just to off her again in a well advertised OMD ARC.
So...we'll see who dies...and if it truly is someone Pete can "no longer cry on their shoulder."
I am going to find it very interesting as to how it plays out tho....and if it does play out according to JQ's 2+ year agenda...or if he has tricked us all in some grand scheme. (which i doubt)
Swing Shift takes place in continuity and Aunt May is alive and well in that story, so whoever is claiming that she dies in OMD is clearly wrong.

Im always completely puzzled when i see fans complaining about movie tie ins...
Marvel didnt put anything out for the first Blade movie, and fans raked them over the coals for it....
Now, they make sure there's a tie in with each movie, AND FANS RAKE THEM OVER THE COALS FOR IT.![]()
It's a wonder the comics industry is still around, period.![]()
Honestly, even if Marvel did give a reason, simple or not, why Peter went back to the red and blues, people would still find a reason to complain about it. Marvel just won't win when it comes with some fans.
Wow, I completely disagree. I did not, in away way, find part one "crap." It was a set-up issue, like most number ones. I don't get why people always need a big bang to happen for them to be interested in anything. It's really actually annoying, really, which is why it makes me stay away from most comics.

That's what I am hoping for- Occasionally theres gotta be more to JQ's hype than meets the eye.![]()
I was not aware the swing shift issue was a glimpse at future status quo- as according to TMOB. If this is the case than there ya go- May is not dead, and I feel that killing MJ would not only be a step too far- but JQ understands it would be a step too far.
Re: JQ's art- it's funny that most of you are disgusted by it, I actually welcomed his freaky pencils and thought they made a nice contrast to Garneys run. In the double page at the end I thought Spidey's anatomy was a little whack, but you guys can't say the splash where Stark is completely webbed is not way cool.
