But that spidey head/face....on that specific cover...looks...frumpled and oddly shaped.

Oh hush...back in the day (60's/70's) every other issue was featuring Spidey's new "deadliest" foe.

Of course, no one's complaining about those comics. Because the were written by the "comics god that is Stan Lee"

Yes...I'm not dissing Stan in any way. I love Stan's work.

It's just that one of the things he often did was say "See Spidey Fight His Deadliest Foe!" in many issues with various different villains. But no one's complaining about those old school comics. But when Marvel does some like covers for One More Day, it's somehow "unworthy" because it hasn't been touched by Stan.

Exactly. I stuck by Spidey through Civil War, The Other, Sins Past and Back in Black, but this One More Day thing.....I dont know.

And personally, I cant stand the retro 70's covers. They were bad even in the 70's.

I wish Marvel would adopt corner boxes again.

JQ's art is freaky for sure, but I like freaky.
Shame I can't share the same positivity for the story at this stage.
