One Of My Songs On NY TV

turns out that a friend who's living in new york told us that a song from one of my bands' album came out on a spanish speaking watersports show last week, but he couldn't recall neither the channel nor the show's name, but it was a week ago from yesterday

I wonder how it got all the way there

anyone knows how I can get a hold the show's information?

okay, once again

I play in at least three different bands, one of which released an album three years ago, we toured and promoted our album for two years and then went on a break

the guy who mixed that album is currently residing in new york, so he knows the songs in the album he spent almost a year working on

he sent us a message telling us that while being downtown last sunday (nov 26th) at about midday, he went into a store and heard that the television there was set to a spanish speaking program about water sports

a segment of the show was musicalized with a song from the album he mixed, but he couldn't get the channel or name of the show

now we're curious to know how they got our cd, who thought it was a good idea to slap a song I wrote on the show's segment and if we can sue

nah, we're just curious

maybe, but honestly, in the end it's just as rewarding to know that someone somewhere liked our music enough to use it that way

after all, we are a small, independent band from a pretty small town in Mexico
