Only Green and Yellow? or.. All the colors on the Lantern Corps?

Only one I don't really give a **** about is Indigo

Saint Walker and Atrocitus are musts imo

Make Green and Yellow the only actual Corps, harness the other energies in different ringless, Lanternless fashions.

Green and Red. I desperately want to see Atrocitus in live-action.

Good call with Red. In the first movie, I've fine with Green and Yellow. Down the road, I'd like to see them explore the Red and Blue Lanterns.

Yeah I'd like to have all the colors. It should be interesting to see how the relationships work. Anger and fear should be natural enemies of will. Hope actually boosts will's strength. Greed just takes you over making you totally obsessive. Greed and love seem like independent actors to me, like they aren't good or bad, but they can both be self centered so they Can't be trusted in teams. I imagine compassion would be really neutral and more or less passives. I'd prefer death and life to be a surprise for the darkest night.

So much potential for world building. Exciting to think about.

I say use all of them, but embrace the way Geoff Johns kept them separate and kind of built them into the history of the Corps. Maybe even have the Guardians, instead of being naysaying idiots ignorant of the power of the lights, spending time containing the energies and having Green Lanterns know about most of them.

Like keep Larfleeze in his little Mordor-style hovel off on his own, with the Lanterns keeping a perimeter away from the planet, maybe have the Indigo tribe intitially be the Guardians attempting to rehabilitate galactic sociopaths with a diluted version of the Indigo light, maybe they've got a treaty with the Zamarons where they give the Sapphire power to only their queens, and the Red Lanterns being enslaved on Ysalt until Atrocitus manages to power up by killing his fellows.

Maybe the Guardians have even sabotaged some of the emotion lights, like planting a blue lantern on Larfleeze to try and keep him from exercising his envy across the stars by making him hope for stuff to just come to him. Maybe they intentionally planted Parallax and the Yellow fear weakness in the Green Lantern Corps as a safety measure, only for Sinestro to unlock its power and separate it.

And I like how Johns separated their usage (with Red being just destructive, Orange making ghosts of other people, etc.) I'd emphasize that in the film, especially with yellow and fear; I think we should see how the target's fears morph the initial construct into something more horrifying. And if the user starts being beaten, maybe his own constructs attack him.

I recently got GL:TAS on Bluray, and I'm sold on more than just the GLs and SC. Saint Walker's spiritual journey on Mogo that ended with him yielding the blue light of hope was a beautiful thing. Plus, the seeing the Zamarons, the Spider-guild, and Larfleeze gave the show's scope a grand feel and presented the rings as more complex than just weaponry.

Only colors I would be absolutely alright with never appearing are black and white. Life and Death don't feel right being on the same kind of level as Willpower, Love, Rage, Fear, Compassion, Greed, and Hope.

Yeah, but I wouldn't mind seeing Nekron in live-action. That would be badass.

I'm not against one or two of the others appearing, but I mainly want to see Green and Yellow, preferably in a Sinestro Corps War move

Haha you know it.

We sure as hell don't need every colour in GLC.

But I think you could have green and red in the first movie, partly so I can see my soulmate Bleez come to life. Maybe hint at the existence of other colours.

I do not want yellow in GLC at all. I'd kill to see a Sinestro Corps War movie but you'd have to build towards it. If GLC just began with green and yellow going at it I'd be mightily pissed.

In the first movie show Abin Sur escorting Atrocitus to the science cells via aircraft (because his ring wasn't working properly thanks to Atrocitus getting in his head.) Atrocitus breaks free attacks Abin making the aircraft crashing on earth thus Hal's origin.

The idea of GLC also being a very loose sequel could come into play. The Sinestro Crops is already established. We could see Atrocitus through flashbacks or present day talking about the prophecy. By the end of the film Ganthet and Sayd get expelled from the Guardians. Mid credit scene Saint Walker accepting the first blue ring while saying the oath.
End credit scene Atrocitus rising out of a pool of blood with a glowing red ring, saying his oath.

I would want Sinestro to still be a Green Lantern in the first movie and Attrocitus and the red lanterns being the villains with the revelation of what the guardians did and covered up in sector 666 being what really tips him over the edge with him quitting the corps at the end of the movie

I'd really like a Hal who is already experienced and had been a GL for a few years so I would do what BvS and TIH did and show the origin at the start of the film and flash forward sometime to the present where we see the new recruit(s) of John and/or Guy fresh out of basic training to be shown the ropes by Hal and Sinestro.

Oh I agree, I thought I wrote that as a flashback scene. Forgot to write it haha.

Green, Yellow, Blue, and Red are the four musts, but for the spectrum to make sense you kind of have to have all of them present, just not necessarily the focus. Like others have said, Atrocious and Saint Walker are musts.
