I’m guessing/hoping it’ll be ARGUS (and whatever military meta they use against Superman) & Brainiac. And give us a fun opening villain like DCAU Toyman or Ultra Humanite, or whoever really. Just a fun visual to compete with the kaiju

But once Brainiac starts shrinking cities, ARGUS turns to Superman & Lex to save the day. And who knows, maybe Lex’s heart will grow three sizes that day.

Brainiac needs to be for Superman and Supergirl but a nice Brainiac set up like Ghost in the Machine Superman the Animated Series would be a good side plot.

This movie is supposed to be have summer fun so I would go with Toy Man the brains/ Metallo the power/Live-wire attitude /Parasite can weaken Supes.
