I see it like this.
The reason for the bat-symbol beeing blurred out behind the flying bats in front of it in the opening scene of BB, was because Bruce's destiny wasn't set in stone at that point in time. Like the symbol beeing blurred and not completely recognizable, so was Bruce Wayne for a good amount of time in the movie, within him self that is. He didn't know who he was or what he was surpose to do with his life. Note that it didn't say "Batman Begins" either, until the very end of the movie. Only at that point in time, he realized whom he truely was, and that his desguise wasn't just temporary, it was permanent!
In TDK, there's no confusion for Bruce any more, he knows what he is, and therefor, the symbol in the opening shouldn't be blurred out! It should stand crystal clear this time around, only with the blue light surrounding it (like seen in the teaser trailer), instead of the dark orange as seen in BB. But that shouldn't be all. Instead of bats flying in front of the symbol like in BB, this time it should stand completely alone and clear... Suddently (like seen in teaser), the batsymbol should start to crack, and out of the batsymbol comes flying the Joker card, followed by an evil laugter, and than darkness! That's what I'd like to see, and nothing more. It makes a great statement, just like it did the first time around. Only this time is says: you may know who you are Bruce; but a storm is coming!
