Opinion of Dragonball from other websites

Indeed. Besides being from Japan and having big eyes sometimes, Dragonball is less anime then most. I've seen one person's head magically Animelly inflate(Vegeta of course):oldrazz: on that show (Not sure bout Gt or the original)

"WHY CAN'T HE KISS YOUR WOMAN KAKAROT!?" :cmad: :cmad: :cmad:

:pal:

EWWW!!! PUT IT AWAY!!!

Disgusting.

The sad thing is Jappo that this man will be one of the reviewers that will effect the tomato meter at RottenTomatoes. This man actually has reviewing rights so expect this "Creature" Joshua Tyler to give a nasty review lowering "Dragonball's" percentage on Rotten Tomatoes. I hate this slimy creature so much.

Dragonball is Dragonball. It happens to be made in Japan. That's it.

EDIT: Crap, people keep posting when I'm writing. And yes, I'll make sure Rotten Tomatoes does not include this review... if it's the last thing I do.

This is the same man (Joshua Tyler) who despises Anime so much.

"There are two ways to review this movie. The right way is to look at it objectively, examining how the film is put together and picking apart the script by pointing out the gaping logical gaps present in it. I’ll be reviewing the film the wrong way, as a man who was once a little boy crying because Optimus Prime was dead. Now whatever is left of that kid inside me has had a wakeup call. The movie he’s been waiting twenty years to see is finally here; Optimus Prime is back from the grave and he needs my help"

4.5/5 Transformers Review

Has Joshua forgotten that "Transformers" was not only created in Japan but considered as "Anime" the very thing that Joshua despises so much. This goes to show how big of a Idiot this guy really is. Hate to break it to you Joshy boy but Optimus Prime your Idol and Hero is considered as Anime!!

Should I keep the insults or edit it to contain non-resentful language?

Post that on his website...

He doesn't let any posts get past moderators office if it is slanted negatively toward him or makes fun of his reviewing abilities etc.

Well atleast for me. Because i posted something when i saw his preview thing and it isn't up yet.

Boycotting the site is the best thing we can do. That and telling others to.

I posted this:

"Calling something a preview and then reviewing it DOES NOT MAKE IT A PREVIEW.

Please, stop REVIEWING films before they're released you piece of ****.

I know you aren't going to post this on your site because your a coward and only approve what you want people to see."

Well done Jappo! Hopefully they post both of our messages but this guy is an absolute coward.

Edit: They posted my comment on CinemaBlend I want to read Joshuas pathetic response.

oh man what that guy wrote was not a review. It is just a preview but his preview usually ends up being his review.

Also i think we should now stop tearing him apart because who knows he might get more pissed and write a much more negative review than you could imagine. Just don't send that dude anything now.

Still we will continue to degrade that sites reputation. If the movie comes out and he indeed does give it a good rating then we will forget it but if he gives a really bad rating then you should inform rottentomatoes.com and show them this preview thing as a proof of why this guy isn't fit for reviewing such stuff. Also save a copy of that preview as it is from his site so that he cannot change it later and say "i never said that"

Dude, he has his mind set on hating this movie because he hates Dragonball and Anime. He said so.

That's a review before it's released, not an unbiased preview of what's coming up.

Joshuas response to my post.

"Interesting point Craig. Transformers is great. However, I don't think it's technically anime. It was written and recorded in America and produced for American audiences. Yes, the animation style is somewhat similar because the cartoon was drawn in Japan, however it's not really Anime, at least not as I understand it.

That said, there are always exceptions to every rule. As I said above, I'm certain there is good Anime out there somewhere. Unfortunately, Dragonball Z and the other crappy Anime we've had foisted on us here in America has done a good job of scaring me away from it." - Joshua Tyler

Hate to break it to you Joshua my dear boy but Optimus Prime your Idol and Hero is considered as an Anime Character. Also if you hate the idea of Anime's being transfered in to Live Action why did you love "Transformers" so much? I guess you find the Idea of Giant Alien Robots from another planet a lot more sophisticated than "Dragon Ball".

What a weasel. He says what you want to hear, only when he's backed up in a corner.

He said he despised every anime ever created in the forum!

aha! so the guy is kinda racist. If Dragonball franchise was written and recorded in America then he would have supported it.

Quite frankly, who cares what other people think of a movie? As long as you enjoy something that is all that should matter. This guy hates Dragon ball and anime? So what? Let him. It's not going to affect my enjoyment nor should it yours

For one, he's an *******. He shouldn't be allowed to write reviews on a publication bigger than some free freewebs site, where no one cares.

Second of all, some people will actually take him seriously. That's not good for anyone.

Thirdly, his facts are wrong. 20th Century Fox is making Dragonball, not Sony.

I could go on, but anyway I'll move on.

No matter how good this movie is, he will hate it. I hate most critics.

I hate to tell you this but expect to not like many people on this forum when the movie comes out. So many people that don't even come into the DB boards will drop by to rip s**t on it.

Done :P

A forum is a little different than a fairly big review website.

People can judge for themselves. He is an ass for giving a bad review w/o even seeing it first though.

When a trailer hits, this forum will get tons of extra traffic, and be prepared for many people to say how stupid and crappy it looks. So long as they don't troll or flame thats their prerogative. Same goes for those that will LOVE the trailer and say how awesome it is, don't flame the ones that hated it. And this will just increase tenfold when it actually hits theater's.

On a personal note a critics review has never affected my point of view on a movie, there's tons of critical darlings that I find to be a snore fest, and critically panned films that I love.

No matter what he writes people will go see it and decide for themselves if it was good or not
