Transformers Optimus and Megatron battle

i think they wanted to depict the decepticons as the overpowering soldier fighters and the autobots as the underdog rebels.

Megatron didn't trip...he leaned over to take the All Spark from Sam while Prime was on the ground. And I never liked the idea of Prime's vehicle mode to even have a trailer, so, no, I'm not a fan of that idea....although, if Ultra Magnus were to ever appear, I would love to see them combine into one robot. That would be cool.

I like that Idea too, as long as they make Ultra Magnus as strong/good Character (not like the wing saber they have in energon & I didn't like the Ultra Magnus in RID either, too whiney maybe, I don't know).

I'll be seeing the movie again, so I could see if prime did trip megatron.

This isn't talking about Ultra Magnus, but wasn't Tigerhawk (from Beast Wars) a depiction of Ultra Magnus? Just curious.

I never thought about it that way. Tiger hawk was a combination of two spark(tigertron + other lady bot), as far as i remember, and he was such a cool character, too bad he had to die. But there is nothing in him that remind me of UM.

The look of him and the way he used his powers reminded me of him a lot.

He knew damn well he killed Jazz. Watch the movie again. When he finally makes it to the battle, he transforms and says "Megatron!"

Megatron then tosses both halves of Jazz to each side and says "Prime."

Now mind you, while Optimus may have missed this, if he didn't he should have touched upon it. I seriously hope they expand their battle on the DVD.
